[Martin Tale 🐌 @MartinTale]

Last time I introduced myself, I'd made $17 🥲

It's been 4 months and it's time for an update 👋

I'm Martin, 37, solo builder, and apparently unable to stop shipping 😅

This year so far:
🚀 13 projects launched
📅 Posted on X every single day
🏆 Survived my first hackathon (#shipaton)
💸 $628 from Snail Walk (37x my first intro 🤯)

Some of the things I've made:
🐌 Snail Walk - a game you survive by walking in real life
💥 Blast - multiplayer bomberman
🦄 Cloudclimb - a magical clicky auto-battler
🔥 Burn Heroes - a 100% vibe coded roguelike

What's next:
🐱 Launching Snail Walk on Product Hunt this week
🏋️ Getting fit in public (98kg ➡️ 76kg)

If you build, walk, or just like fun stuff, let's be friends 🫶

13 projects in 9 months..
Can I ship 13 more in the remaining 3 months? 😬

[Martin Tale 🐌 @MartinTale]

Hey there 😉

I'm Martin and in December I started building in public 🚀

Since then I have built and shipped 7 projects that have earned me $17 big ones 🤑

It has been extremely fun journey!

Achievements, learnings, failures..

The best part?

Meeting so many other amazing builders that are experiencing the same ups and downs 🥰

And now...

I'm working on a sequel for my game Spirit Dungeons 💀

It's a idle/incremental game where you grow and battle with you necromancer army ⚔️

It has been "wish listed" over 30K times already so I have some hopes it will do well but lets see together 😇

And finally...

I appreciate you following me along 🫶

Love seeing your projects too 🥰

Happy building! 💪🚀

[Martin Tale 🐌 @MartinTale]

@adel_ljaljic Yep, I’ll 100% do that too.. it’s just a bit weird on play store where they expect landscape video 😅

[Martin Tale 🐌 @MartinTale]

What's wrong with me? 😬

My app isn't even submitted and I'm already adding iPhone Duo support 🙈

I should just ship it 😅

[Martin Tale 🐌 @MartinTale]

@SuiBuilds Huge congratulations 🥳

[Martin Tale 🐌 @MartinTale]

@brainstormity Would be great 😊

[Martin Tale 🐌 @MartinTale]

Well then 😬

I guess, I'm taking the weekend off 🫡

[Martin Tale 🐌 @MartinTale]

@ThomasKanze

[Martin Tale 🐌 @MartinTale]

@brainstormity Nop, I missed it 🙈

[Martin Tale 🐌 @MartinTale]

@hijooh_ @ThomasKanze Tempted 😅

I actually have some non Claude things planned too this weekend so it kinda works out well but will see what I end up doing 😊

[Martin Tale 🐌 @MartinTale]

@Inglehoff I know right, modern day problems 😅

[Martin Tale 🐌 @MartinTale]

@DevTenta Well, I think I do need a break but had so many plans of what i still wanted to get done this week 😅

Tempted to get a second sub for a month 😬

[Martin Tale 🐌 @MartinTale]

@hijooh_ Ya, I had so many plans and a bit trigger happy to get a second sub for a month 😅

[Martin Tale 🐌 @MartinTale]

@troels_im @marclou I looked at his Trust MRR and it said 55K 😇

[Martin Tale 🐌 @MartinTale]

Me and @marclou just hit $50K+ MRR combined 🚀

I'm the "+" in "$50K+" 😎

[Martin Tale 🐌 @MartinTale]

@daniel_dinoia Thanks man 🫶

Had a lot of fun making it too 😇

[Martin Tale 🐌 @MartinTale]

@anicho @marclou + is important too 😅

[Martin Tale 🐌 @MartinTale]

@ThomasKanze I'll do that soon after.. Starting with iOS this time as it's too stressful to do multiplatform release at the same time 😅

[Martin Tale 🐌 @MartinTale]

@ThomasKanze @pelloiafilippo @marclou @denk_tweets @IlyaPion @madsmadsdk Friends 🫂

[Martin Tale 🐌 @MartinTale]

@adel_ljaljic Ya, I'm prepping screenshots now and will try to submit tonight 😊

[Martin Tale 🐌 @MartinTale]

@pelloiafilippo @ThomasKanze Fair enough 😊 and that’s a good thing imo 💪

[Martin Tale 🐌 @MartinTale]

Unpopular opinion, but I get it, especially now.

[Hakeem @HakDimoz]

I regret building my app in public

But I don't regret building my personal brand; in fact, it's been one of the best things I've done in my life

If I were to do it again, I would keep the app stealth

There are only downsides to sharing it with other builders unless you're actually selling to them

[Martin Tale 🐌 @MartinTale]

@martbln_dev That’s pretty nice 😊
