Now he is charged with breaking into ANOTHER home and ST*BBING A CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL DOCTOR TO DE*TH while his family slept. Dr. Idris Evans, 46, was a pediatric critical care physician at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Police say Hemingway, 32, entered the Evans family’s Pennsylvania home through an open rear window, went to their third-floor bedroom and att*cked Evans and his wife with a kitchen knife. The couple woke up and fought back. Evans’s wife screamed for their children, ages 8 and 12, to run to a neighbor’s house. They escaped. Dr. Evans d*ed at the hospital, and his wife was hospitalized in critical condition. According to the criminal complaint, the att*cker wore only underwear and talked about “being God.” A police K9 found Hemingway behind a nearby house with cuts on his hands. He now faces criminal homicide, aggravated as*ault, burglary and criminal trespass charges. He has not been convicted. Here’s what makes the case even harder to stomach: In February, a woman told police she checked her Nest camera after dropping her child at daycare and saw Hemingway, her former partner, force his way into her home. She reported that her laptop and two iPhones were stolen. Hemingway was arrested in July and charged with burglary and theft. Court records show he was RELEASED THE NEXT DAY on NONMONETARY BOND. No cash payment was required. His next court date in that case was Oct. 1. He never reached it before Dr. Evans was k*lled. Dr. Evans cared for critically ill children. His own two children had to run from their home while their parents were being att*cked. Please keep his wife and family in your prayers. And thank the Democrats for soft-on-crime policies that put us all at risk.

🚨Pennsylvania has CONVICTED a black man, Marson Weh, of first-degree m*rder in the 11-wound st*bbing of a white 15-year-old, Michael Garr. ⠀ A Delaware County jury returned the verdict Thursday after about 30 minutes. Weh, 26, of Clifton Heights, was also found guilty of possessing an instrument of crime. ⠀ Garr was a sophomore at Upper Darby High School. He was walking home from his girlfriend’s house on the 200 block of Bridge Street in Drexel Hill on April 21, 2023. ⠀ Prosecutors said Weh followed him for more than a mile on camera, then st*bbed and slashed him 11 times. A forensic pathologist testified one wound to the throat severed his trachea. ⠀ A driver who came up Bridge Street about a minute later said Garr ran to the car with his hands on his throat and could not speak. Blood sprayed when he moved his hands. ⠀ District Attorney Tanner Rouse told jurors the two had “no earthly connection.” No motive was established. ⠀ Garr’s blood was on Weh’s clothing. Rouse told the jury the folding knife still had the boy’s blood down in the handle. ⠀ Weh had been wanted in Ohio on as$ault and stolen-vehicle charges. He pleaded guilty there and took 9½ years before Pennsylvania brought him back. ⠀ Police also tied him to a February 2023 st*bbing of a PREGNANT WOMAN at Bishop Hill Apartments in Upper Darby. That attempted-m*rder case is set for next month. ⠀ At the defense table Wednesday, a microphone caught Weh saying, “I am the k*ller of Michael Garr. I am, in fact, guilty.” ⠀ First-degree m*rder in Pennsylvania carries life without parole. Sentencing is set for November. ⠀ Upper Darby Police Superintendent Timothy Bernhardt said, “Justice finally caught up to the monster who stole Michael’s life.” ⠀ #Pennsylvania #UpperDarby
