A big takeaway from this course was researching how AI is actively becoming a stronger and stronger disruptive change and the implications we are witnessing happen in the world every single day #DigiTechS23B
@CorcoranJarred Me. Beast is a good example. He uses all the attention he gets from his crazy videos make a positive impact. He is definetly a great leader on top of being a star celebrity known for having so much money.
@Sarah_Cullenn Kim is a great example of this. Even though many know her from her reality TV show, she is also an extremely successful business woman. For example, recently she had launched Skims clothing brand and has gotten lots of attention and business.
@sh_a_llra Love Zendaya. I think her role in Euphoria helped her become a stronger influence for teens. Many idolize her and respect her for her hard work and dedication.
@cmo1433 I did my EDTP on this and explored how AI changes work and the economy. I agree that AI will take over many jobs, but I believe it will also create new opportunities for individuals who can learn to adapt.
@brianna0604RU Reminds me of the foldable Samsung Galaxy Z. Technology is becoming more compact and convenient for users, and I wonder what the next step toward innovation will be
@Stp857 I did my EDTP on AI and focused a sector on how it is changing social institutions -- specifically healthcare. AI is employed in various medical applications, such as medical imaging, diagnostic decision-making, and drug discovery. This is revolutionizing the industry for sure.
The rise of virtual and augmented reality will transform the way we learn, work, and interact with each other, creating new opportunities for immersive experiences and remote collaboration. #DigiTechS23B
Schwarzenegger is a celebrity due to his bodybuilding, acting, and political accomplishments. He won several bodybuilding competitions, starred in blockbuster movies, and served as Governor of California. He is widely recognized and admired for his success in these areas. #LIDC90
@AbbeySTPRS23 Completely agreed. A good leader must adapt to technological changes. Communication, globalization, data-driven decision making, social media, etc. are all tech aspects that leaders must consider when examining their Twitter presence.
@isaiahalidc90 Greta stays true to her positive personality and influence. Social media can foster an environment around hate and negativity, but a good leader must know that all tweets are public and may be scrutinized by the media. Leaders need to keep their heads up and hold to their values.
@JadhavSpandana Trump is a good example of the negative impact of intersecting social media and leadership. He treaded on thin ice and was scrutinized by the media. His reputation-which hung by a thread-was damaged even more after his Twitter backlash. Hopefully he can learn from his mistakes.
Musk is a business leader & a strong influence. Twitter helps manage his brands & allows him to communicate with followers and discuss controversial views. Although he faces criticism for his leadership style, he grasps many aspects of Rubens competencies.

Musk took intersecting leadership and social media to the next level. Insider criticized Musk, saying he's taking on more than he can chew. But Musk uses Twitter to share ideas and insights-personal & business-and engage with his audience. #LIDC90
@oz_ashkenazi VR is an interesting topic. The entire metaverse is insane. VR can be used to enhance team discussion & planning & adds a level to the way we can interact. VR is interesting because many argue we miss out on face-to-face interactions online. VR creates a new way of looking that
@janikadc That’s a cool topic, I remember when face ID for phones began replacing fingerprint IDs and people had mixed opinions. Now facial recognition is used for ID, filters, AR, and much more so it is definetly redefining many aspects of our life.
@DISHABASU13 Both our papers deal with AI and yet our main topic discussing the way it’s disruptive are slightly different. Just goes to show how influential AI technology like ChatGPT is becoming and why companies like Google are racing to improve their own AI versions of ChatGPT—Bard.
My paper will discuss the disruptive nature AI has across industries and aspects of society. AI has the ability to automate tasks previously performed by humans and improve access to information and education and solve challenging problems. Advancement in AI is on the horizon.
AI is an influential EDT. Consider ChatGPT for example, and the impact it’s made in the 3 months it’s been released. There is a reason why giant companies and billionaires are racing to invent the most powerful and accurate AI technology. #DigiTechS23B
@DISHABASU13 Privacy has been significantly impacted in the digital age. Our personal info has become easier to collect for companies, governments, and hackers to use. On the other hand, technology has also enabled people to have greater control by using encryption tools and privacy settings.
