The “Caitlin Clark can’t play defense” crowd is going to have a hard time explaining this one.

Here are Saturday’s offensive/defensive numbers, along with every foul called on Caitlin.

Watch the video. The calls were bad to questionable at best.

And before anyone tells me Raven Johnson should be taking those minutes... she fouled out in only 10 minutes of play. That is not “better defense.” That is not even good defense. That is reckless, undisciplined basketball.

Fever Head Coach Stephanie White, needs to stop subbing like she is a volunteer parent coaching a children's instructional league game on a random Saturday morning worried about some delusional parent complaining about their child's playtime.

It is time for Coach White to start coaching like a professional who manages the tempo of the game by keeping the highest-impact players on the floor and substituting based upon flow and not minutes played.
