Yesterday was 20 November 2025. Those that have followed me on Twitter for the past few years know that this date is very special to me, being the day that I was admitted to the Nigerian Bar, together with 3896 others. You know what that means? It is the day that I dedicate my platform to highlight and celebrate the selected exploits of my classmates in various sectors of the Nigerian & international economy. As you will see shortly, this year's is extra special. Another thing that must be said about me is that I am extremely proud of my Law School class. It has therefore become a tradition for me to dedicate our call to Bar anniversary to celebrating these great minds.
There’s an urgent need for all levels of government in Nigeria, Federal, State and Local Governments to take on the challenge of solving the problem of soaring cost of home ownership. What are the solutions for making land and home ownership more available
for developing land and affordable mass housing projects. We need to begin to hold State Governors (and of course, State legislators who approve the budgets) accountable to fix this. #HoldYourGovernorAccountable#NaijaMustProgress#GoodGovernance
I hear that States now have access to more funds from revenue allocation. I think it’s a good time for more engagements with Governors to understand exactly how these funds are improving for instance, security, access to good quality health care,
as well as the factors impacting or driving performance improvements? How much food is produced within a state and how much comes from outside? How can this data be tracked at the State level to improve local production?
The Zamfara State government has released evidence against the immediate past administration in the state led by Bello Matawalle in relation to the Gusau International (cargo) Airport project. Mr Matawalle is the current Minister of State for Defence.
Matawalle, last Friday, denied the allegation of embezzling billions from the Zamfara cargo airport project but that denial seems to have opened the Pandora’s box as the state government at the weekend reeled out documents backing the allegation.
Could someone please explain to me how Labour Party is ensuring that Nigerians have visibility on the finances of the National Assembly.
@NgLabour we need to see some transparency here please
Donald Duke speaking facts as usual:
1. National carrier is a joke.
2. Oil companies should be responsible for cleanup of polluted areas in the Niger Delta.
3. Infantile for the President to be Minister of Petroleum.
