@AdamSimecka@LawrenceLepard Not for silver. Going to be the fifth straight year of supply deficit, and you can’t just wish up a new silver mine to address it.
@PeterSchiff Hey Peter, I haven’t been able to play your podcasts on an iPhone for last 3 months. They all just display a playback error. All other podcasters I listen to play just fine. Are you publishing them differently? Only way I can listen is via schiffradio. Am in Australia. Thanks!!
@DawesPoints Might be right in the short term, but in this world of rampant government deficit spending, an inevitable return to QE and resulting increases is inflation (that we are already starting to see), I know where I am putting my money. Macro trumps technical analysis any day.
@BillAckman@realDonaldTrump So do we know that all the 60% enriched uranium has been destroyed? If the mad mullahs just moved it somewhere safer, then the US has achieved nothing.
@elonmusk G’day from Australia. I’m a bit confused…you and President Trump want to cut government spending (fantastic!) but you both were lobbying for the suspension of the debt ceiling. Wouldn’t leaving it in place discourage further profligate deficit spending?
@mdtlion@Bowenchris I have Redflow shares and they have been a complete dog with fleas. Not sure why anyone would invest in any Australian renewables company.
@Bowenchris Comments are gold. Hard to believe a Minister of the Crown could be peddling such misinformation. I didn’t think we needed a law to ban such crap, but now I’m not so sure…
@Peter_Fitz@simonahac Mate, you have shown yourself numerous times in the past to know FA about science, energy and economics. A word of advice, stick to sport and history.
@kity_katz@katherine_deves@Bowenchris But the estimated amount to reside the grid for renewables is $1.2T so it’s a completely valid comparison. Casanova is not factoring this into his repeated assertions that renewables are cheapest, and it’s pretty rich repeatedly criticising others for not releasing costings.
@kity_katz@katherine_deves@Bowenchris But you seem to be overlooking the minor fact that he’s not the one in Government Kitt Katz. Casanova has been in for 2 years now and no costings at all.
@Peter_Fitz Norway has 88% base load hydro power, so yes, they can afford to top up the rest with intermittent wind and solar. Australia hasn’t that luxury, hence we need alternate base load sources. I think you should stick to sports commentary.
@sucmyleftone@abcnews ABC news radio still called it a win for Biden immediately afterwards. Couldn’t help themselves… Both candidates were very ordinary from a debating perspective.
