The moment you realize your lack of discipline is costing you more than the market ever could, you stop blaming the charts and start fixing yourself.
Fix your trading.
I’m not saying this because I’m better than you.
I’m saying it from experience.
I’ve lived through it.
I’ve taken multiple trades trying to reach a specific goal. I’ve funded my account repeatedly after losing trades. I’ve taken money I made outside trading and put it back into the market because I was trying to scale my capital faster.
And I can tell you firsthand: without structure, this becomes extremely detrimental.
Trading is a business. Treat it like one.
• Max 1 trade per day.
• Max 3 trades per week.
• No setup = no trade.
• Reduce the pairs you trade.
• Win or lose, once you take your trade, you’re done for the day.
• Withdraw/pay yourself once a month.
You don’t need to trade every day to make money.
You can take zero trades all week if nothing meets your criteria.
And stop the cycle:
Fund → lose → fund again → lose again.
Set a fixed percentage of the money you earn outside trading that you’re willing to allocate to your trading account. Once that allocation is gone, you’re done.
Your trading losses should never be allowed to affect your lifestyle or financial stability.
You don’t need to rush.
You need to stay in the game.
Imagine reaching the end of the month having taken only 7 trades—and making more than you did when you were taking 30.
That’s the difference structure can make.
Trade less. Think more. Protect your capital.
Trading is a business, and you can only give yourself a real chance of succeeding when you start treating it like one.
Life is crazy when you’re chasing rewards.
You reject 60 because you want 100.
You reject 90 because you want more.
Then it drops to 50, 20, and eventually 0.
Now you’re praying for just 10.
Sometimes you get more than expected. Sometimes you get nothing.
Stay disciplined.
New month, same goal: trade with discipline, not emotion.
Treat every trade like a business decision. You don’t need to catch every market move—you only need to catch the right opportunities.
Wait for your setup.
Enter with precision.
Protect your capital.
Manage your risk.
@Kelvintalent_ Trading will humble you enough to realize that the market was never your biggest opponent.
It’s your impatience, your ego, your fear, your inconsistency.
Beat those consistently and you become a completely different trader. 🥂
I started this year with $900,000 in funding, $400,000 with FTMO, $300,000 with FundedNext, and $200,000 with Seacrest.
I lost my FTMO and FundedNext accounts to a silly mistake, a weekend opening gap, and I was left with my $200,000 Seacrest account. Barely a week later, I got an email from Seacrest saying they were shutting down their prop firm to continue as a broker.
I was up $9,000 on the account at the time. I had to close the trade and request a payout, and surprisingly, I was paid. My account was terminated right after since they were no longer operating as a prop firm.
That was how I lost all of my funding. I went from $900,000 funded back to zero.
I decided to purchase a $200,000 FundedNext account, started afresh, and got funded again. That’s even the account I’m currently requesting a payout from.
As of last week, I got funded again, $400,000 with FTMO. Ending the quarter with $400,000 with E8 Funding, $400,000 with FTMO and $200,000 with FundedNext.
Now, I’m back to being $1 million funded.
This is a message to everyone out there. You can lose everything in one minute from one mistake, but as long as your skill is intact, you can always come back.
Rock bottom is a trampoline for the skilled.
Market Structure On Volatility index 75.
Knowledge sake. Didn't trade this tho.
But i can say this is pure and clear movement.
Market Structure have been rewarding since i started using it mainly as my strategy. Coz price action has been at war with my strategy😪😂.
