Bonded slavery and labour at spicejet . No salaries for last 4 months now and management not allowing people to leave even after submitting resignation. Government and dgca as usual in deep sleep.

@Abhaukal06 @jagritichandra True,and the worst is the spicejet management. Emails are left unheard, no accountability or acknowledgment. Apparently latest news is employees have received 50 percent (half) of Feb salary after differing it for 3 month. So 1 salary that to half of it,only spicejet can do that.

@jagritichandra It is a proven fact that the owner is well shielded and is continuously funded by government. No labour laws applies to him as he is close to amit shah and modi.dgca is keeping eyes shut . Employees are forced to work as slaves and are not allowed to leave. 3 months and NO SALARY

@dal14172 @jagritichandra @aiameunion How do you think spicejet is still getting a clean chit everytime. Because of the corruption at dgca and the aviation ministry office. Unpaid dues and salaries to employees, unsettled fnfs poor maintenance of aircrafts, staffs held hostage and still no action against spicejet.

@zhr_jafri Its the same thing with spicejet, pure mental harassment especially the management. Salaries have not been paid since last 3 months, people on resignation have been asked to serve 6 months,no early release granted. No accountability at all,dgca and aviation ministry are sleeping.

@sjlazars What about 2 and half months of non payment of salaries by spicejet and dgca still acting like a mute spectator. I think its important to deal with the real issues rather than the videos which is shot during non critical phase of the flight.

Have highlighted this issue even in the past that rail neer is not provided in any of the trains.Only sunrich water bottles are sold that too at inflated rate in every train.
This is for train no 12164 on 7th of march

Spicejet not paying salary, dues to employees is also a major safety concern which is going to cause more such accidents and incidents. I wonder how even after defaulting so many times it still goes unnoticed.

IndiGo didn’t just cancel flights, it practically held the country hostage, grounding planes, flexing its muscle, and daring the govt to do anything about it. And instead of standing its ground, the BJP govt surrendered, withdrawing its own order.

Compare that to how Singapore's Lee Kuan Yew handled a similar crisis in the ’80s.

Modi and the BJP simply don’t have the stomach to confront monopolies.
