@qatarairways @ErrSr From my understanding, my flight from Germany to South africa, allows for 1x 7kg Hand lugguage, and 2x 23kg checked in bags. My first checked in bag is a normal size travel bag, but the second bag is a mountain bike in a bicycle bag, measuring L130xH82xW25. How will that work?

South Africa 🇿🇦 did a great job in sequencing the new Corona variant Omicron. They were also extremely transparent about it.

The variant was already circulating in the EU. Punishing SA and their economy with a travel ban is not proportionate!

My(vaccinated)boyfriend🇿🇦 was supposed to arrive in a few hours but needed to cancel his flight because 🇩🇪 @Karl_Lauterbach has no exemptions for unmarried couples who don’t live in the same household (it’s a long distance relationship 🤯) we need the couples exemption @BMI_Bund

These travel bans will devastate the economies of Southern Africa that are dependent on tourism. They go precisely against what was agreed at the G20 in Italy earlier this year when it was said we must open up travel so the tourism sector can recover.

@Karl_Lauterbach das Einreiseverbot für die afrikanischen Länder ist eine Farce! Omikron ist in so vielen Ländern nachgewiesen. Das Einreiseverbot für unverheiratete (GEIMPFTE und GETESTETE) Paare hat keine wissenschaftliche Grundlage!
