Los Angeles –From Executive Producer Mary Aloe and Aloe Entertainment with a book launch, a streaming series,  four films coming out and  three news ones starting  production it’s an exciting  twelve  months ahead!  One  of the true  highlights is  our production  of GROOVE TAILS  starring Ansel Elgort @ansel  ( Baby Driver, The Fault in Our Stars),  @hallebailey on(The Little Mermaid, The Color Purple), @ludacris (@FastandTheFurious franchise, Crash) @alanritchson (Reacher, War Machine) @JBSmoove   international recording artists  and actors ( Curb Your Enthusiasm), @ceelogreen ( Hotel Transylvania)  @agnezmo ( Reacher) lead our all-star ensemble.
Great family animated films are crushing at the box office,@Goat, @ToyStory5, Hoppers etc. Our family movie is primed with our stellar cast,  veteran producers and writer director mixed with an amazing dance film and soundtrack. The animated films can take longer,but the payoff for great family movies, that also that top the box office/ streamers make it all worth it!   We are currently in production and set to complete our animation this fall.Set in New York City  and billed as a “four-quadrant, music-driven animated film with dance throughout,” “Groove Tails follows an enthusiastic young mouse who learns to dance in his glass home with his pop,  while living comfortably  in a young girls  room while she is watching dance shows on tv, he too then learns to dance and dreams of becoming a world-famous dancer. When his father dismisses those ambitions, he embarks on his own journey leaving the comforts of home,  to the big wide world of @NYC. From Producer #MaryAloe and #AloeEntertainment,  just announced The Species, haunting love story of Charles and Emma Darwin.  This is Mary Aloe’s third movie in the last three years Mary (Netflix) and Freuds Last Session (Sony) with Sir Anthony Hopkins. #MaryAloe and the #AloeEntertainment team’s slate for 2026 includes Hershey, Alpha Gang and Groove Tails eyeing releases for this next year and the start of the next 4 films including #TheSpecies,  #BirdofPrey, #Ruin, starring #GalGadot and another to be announced shortly!

#EmmaDarwin, widow of visionary scientist #CharlesDarwin, finds herself on a late life journey of self-discovery as she faces a challenge to her faith in the form of her beloved atheist husband’s as–yet unpublished autobiography. The Species is a richly layered and emotionally resonant drama exploring grief, legacy, and belief - a story of one woman’s strength and spiritual awakening as she confronts the aftershocks of genius and the burden of history.. Set in the aftermath of Charles Darwin’s death, the film examines faith and love  as Emma struggles to reconcile her devotion to her husband with her conviction in an afterlife where they might meet again. Set against the backdrop of Victorian England and the censorship surrounding Darwin’s writings, The Speciesoffers a deeply human story of reconciliation and renewal - a moving portrait of a marriage that transcends life and death.
