Thatβs my EMA submitted and #OUB329 complete! Have thoroughly enjoyed this module and have to say thank you to @Barry_Verdin for being a great tutor! One final module to complete and the degree it done! β ππ
#b329leadershipchallenge Break the cycle of hunger! Help the malnutrition of babies by donating breast milk to those who need it most. If the cycle stops we are one step closer to solving global hunger #GiveMilkGiveLife πΌπ
#Week14#B329LeadershipChallenge Working with my group to come up with some ideas for the leadership challenge has been interesting! Lots of different opinions to provoke my thoughts and ideas. One of my ideas was plastic overuse specifically disposable vapes @Barry_Verdin π«π
#OUB329#week12 I have learnt that I mainly use a coaching and supportive leadership style, occasionally choosing to delegate when the time is right. I would say that is an accurate way of how I like to lead and how I like to be led #approachable#personable π @Barry_Verdin
β¦ which in my workplace with a smaller team often encourages great conversation and allows us to implement change. However itβs interesting to challenge this idea, does collaboration exhaust people by trying to keep everyone happy? ππ€@Barry_Verdin
#OUB329#Week12 found it very interesting to explore the metaphor of leadership being compared to a game through positive, negative and zero-sum games. I feel lucky to be in a team that values collaboration which I view as a positive-sum game⦠@Barry_Verdin
The most important thing is leading change in a positive way, ensuring youβre being inclusive and encouraging collaboration. Listening and bringing different opinions together but being direct if individuals are abrasive or provoking others in a negative way βοΈβ@Barry_Verdin
#OUB329#week11 conflict is an inevitable part of leadership and something we cannot avoid. Although conflict has a lot of negative connotations it is sometimes necessary to create change and to achieve a constructive outcome. π@Barry_Verdin
