#B329LeadershipChallenge Mental health is an increasing issue in the UK and world, with issues with anxiety, depression, body image, sleep, bullying. Social media has many benefits, but we did not considered the impact to our mental health - until now. which is my CTA #b329wk18
#oub329wk18 this week I submitted my leadership challenge and my call to action. I worked independently on mine so I am looking forward to reading other peoples work as there are so many valuable topics to call to action in todays society
#oub329wk17 I have learned that the act of storytelling and taking your audience on an emotional journey can result in gaining you increased support and a following. This is critical when working towards implementing social change at a large scale #OUB329
#oub329wk17 Was very important to understand leadership and social change. social change organisations address systemic problems at any scale from local to global.
The people have spoken! I narrowed it down to 3 topics which I am deeply passionate about, and put it out for people to choose what they want a call to action for #OUB329Leadershipchallenge
#OUB329Leadershipchallenge has been started! Iโve put out to poll to decide what topic to write about in the absence of a group to brainstorm ideas with.
#oub329wk16 organisations depend upon conflict to push the barriers of business as usual, and reach beyond safe assumptions to help grow. This resonates with me personally
#OUB329wk16 This week in @B329Leadership I have learnt of the power of #activistleadership and how collective groups can impact change. The power of communications has enhanced the ability for #precariousworkers to have a voice which can make a significant difference
#OUB329 Iโve decided to do the leadership challenge along as I donโt wish to delay my team, as they can all meet when I canโt. Excited to get caught up and consider call of actions #OUB329Leadershipchallenge
#OUB329wk14 I enjoyed learning about Tame, Wicked and Critical challenges. Especially how leaders get drawn to solving immediate issues and ignoring underlying driver, we see this often in turbulent and precarious times
#OUB329wk15 is fascinating learning of faces of power and faces of resistance (Fleming and Spicer 2007) whilst working in NHS transformation I see these faces often when adopting change
#OUB329wk15 I learnt the forms of resistance adapted from Collinson and Ackroyd (2005) and the Overt & Covert oppositional workplace practices when groups disagree of an organisations decision or change
