@EmRoman74 I really feel for you. We looked after my father in law during his last couple of years. I don't think we slept the whole time. Wishing you all the best.
Could you possibly please share?
We’ve not had any enquiries for this lovely girl, she’s been waiting a while now.
Astrid is a 5 year old female German Shepherd x Belgian Malinois. She is available and looking for a new home.
Astrid is chipped and spayed and also healthy with no medical issues.
She would suit a home with someone who is active and can give her plenty of walks and attention.
Astrid eats a mix of wet and dry food and can be left on her own.
She travels well in the van with her dog walker but can be car sick. She sleeps in her owners room at night either on the bed or her own bed on the floor.
Astrid likes to meet new people and gets excited. She would be fine around teenagers but not small children.
Astrid doesn’t like cats. She is registered with the vets.
She is fine on group walks but when she is with her owner she can be reactive to other dogs as she thinks she is protecting her owner.
A home with no other animals is best for Astrid and her needs.
She is use to spending time alone at home with background music left on for her. Astrid is excellent at letting you know when she needs the toilet. She is kept on a lead when out on walks as she can be reactive to other dogs but not all dogs. She is also use to a long lead and loves to play with her toy or a ball. Astrid sees playing with toys or a ball as a job and doesn't pay much attention to other dogs unless they come into her space.

@NiallHarbison This is really sad news 😢. Poor Bear, but at least he knew love and kindness at the end ❤️
I'm sorry for you and the team but just remember all the dogs you have saved.

This poor little lady is MEG 🤍🧡 she is a senior Jack Russell and is one of the (many!) emergency intakes we have somehow squeezed in this week, and arrived in really terrible shape 😥
She was crawling with fleas, has open sores, swollen infected paws, an abcess on her face and is underweight 🧡 she was so sore and being driven mad by the fleas 😥
We got her straight to the vets for much needed treatment ❤️🩹 BUT!!! Meg desperately needs a FOSTER/HOME!!! ‼️
She is crying constantly in her kennel - and as much as we can get on top of her medical issues, she just needs to be with people and in a home 💔 this is urgent ‼️ PLEASE get in touch via email if you can foster/potentially offer Meg a home 🧡🤍🧡
Any donations towards her care would be incredibly appreciated 🙏 We desperately need your support more than ever right now, with yet two more emergencies coming in today, it feels relentless and we just can't do it without you 🧡🤍🧡

At just around 1yr old, Donnie has already spent far too much time in kennels. He hasn’t done anything wrong - he simply needs a patient understanding person who can see beyond his nervous moments and recognise the wonderful dog waiting underneath

@DreyfusJames What has happened to comedy? We can't even tell a joke now in case it offends someone 🙄. How I miss the old school pubs where we used to share our favourite jokes. Back when we could all laugh at ourselves. 😔
No offers at all for this lad. No surprise.
With the summer holidays, many people are now looking for puppies to entertain the kids.
Give it the next 5 weeks when the schools go back, and in August, we will be inundated with calls to help rehome dogs that are no longer wanted.
Do us a favour, take an older dog and give them a retirement home instead. Stop lining the pockets of greedy breeders!
