Have you ever seen a frog factory farm before? 🐸
Their legs are cut off with knives, scissors, or pulled off by hand - all while fully conscious - for 'frogs legs' 😡
It can take up to a full hour before they finally die. Sick, cruel, & unnecessary!
Russian losses resulting from an attack on the Sevastopol shipyard, which caused damage to the large landing ship Minsk and the submarine Rostov-on-Don.

In attacking Ukraine Putin made three fundamental mistakes:
1. He overestimated the capabilities and commitment of the Russian military.
2. He understimated the resilience and strength of the Ukrainian armed forces and civilians.
3. He underestimated the unity and support of the West.
Subsequently he ended up achieving the exact opposite to what he aimed for:
1. A European Ukraine.
2. A united Europe.
3. A stronger Transatlantic partnership.
4. A rejuvenation of Nato.
5. A Finnish and Swedish membership in Nato.
6. An eventual further enlargement of the EU and Nato.
7. A decoupling of Russian and European trade and energy.
8. A loss of close partnerships in Central Asia and the Caucasus.
9. An increase of European and American military spending.
10. A humiliation of the Russian military.
Putin's agression will go down as the biggest strategic, tactical and military failure in recent history.
That is what happens when an authoritarian leader gets blinded by his imperialist and revisionist vision and illusion about his own place in history.

Vor zwei Jahren erschien "Not One Inch" von M. E. Sarotte bei YaleUP. Sehr lesenswertes Buch! Erscheint jetzt auf deutsch bei @CHBeckLiteratur . Wer sich nicht durch über 500 Seiten lesen möchte, hat hier einen knappen Blick auf die Erkenntnisse.
@jaanikamerilo Which they undoubtedly referred to as a “terrorist attack” carried out by the “thugs of the Kiev regime,” who “will be dealt with aggressively.” This was a seriously devastating and unprecedented strike…likely 34 officers killed. Well done Ukrainian heroes 🇺🇦🫡
The Kremlin is implementing a “state policy” of torture in Ukraine, the United Nations’ leading expert on the human rights abuse told me as she wrapped up her fact-finding mission here.

The UN has established facts of fatal torture by the Russians in the occupied territory
An independent international commission of the United Nations has collected a lot of evidence of crimes committed by the Russian army in the de-occupied territories of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions.
The commission members concluded that the use of torture was widespread and systematic. In some cases, torture was inflicted with such brutality that it caused the death of the victim.
"Russian soldiers raped and committed sexual violence against women of ages ranging from 19 to 83 years" in occupied parts of Kherson province, said Erik Møse, Chair of the Commission of Inquiry on Ukraine.
In August and September, Møse's commission visited parts of Ukraine formerly occupied by Russian forces such as in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. It found that torture was committed mainly in detention centres operated by the Russian authorities and chiefly against people accused of being Ukrainian informants.
"Moskau hat den Vertrag unterschrieben, ratifiziert und die Überweisungen dafür erhalten. Sie bekamen ja 15 Milliarden D-Mark. Auf Englisch würden wir sagen: They cashed the cheque. Das vergisst Putin immer."

Maksym Logvinenko dreamed of becoming an entrepreneur. He liked to study, in particular to study history, literature, English.
He was attached to his father from an early age and spent a lot of time with him. He had a faithful friend Dmytro.
The boy died in March 2022 in the Kyiv region. Russian soldiers fired at the car in which Maksym was driving with his parents and three other people. Of all of them, only dad survived...
