@rodesqa I can't imagine the pain you're going through, we don't really know each other but I'm here if you need someone to talk to.
I wish things will change soon
We've stopped with certifications. That's a flawed and unfair system in general. I do not wish to participate in that.
Educators should qualify themselves based on their merits as a teacher - to inspire kids making art - not on knowing which buttons to press in software.
(2/2) ... to qualify teachers for their ability to teach making art and design (film, games, 3d models) efficiently. Whether that’s with Blender or Maya really doesn't matter.
I hope someone in USA education policy circles reads this, and will fix this flawed system.
(1/2) USA teacher mails me: Companies like Autodesk keep pushing industry certifications through high school classes, even though many students already come into 3D modeling classes with experience in Blender.
This has to stop. It would only make sense ...
Day 20: Ipotesi, by @FoxLeader86 and @Mary_Comi!
Really liked the art style with this one, the high fidelity of the starting area made what followed all the more jarring. I found the sense of scale in the environment suitably imposing, too. Interesting game!
Woooooop woop, my first torso ever. Some obvious mistake but I'm really happy with what I achieved there. Huge thanks to @yansculpts for his tutorial !
