Will Revolut launch a USD-pegged stablecoin in 2026? 👀
My first spider instinct was NO, but I didn’t want to rely on instinct alone, so I did some research to find the most likely outcome.
Market sentiment currently leans YES, largely because @Revolut recently launched EURR, its first stablecoin, pegged to the EURO and initially available to eligible customers in Denmark, Poland, and Portugal.
At first glance, this could look like a sign that a USD-pegged stablecoin is next. But I’m not convinced.
Revolut called EURR the “first step” in a broader stablecoin strategy that will include other currencies. However, the company deliberately started with the euro, positioning EURR as an alternative for customers who want to avoid USD exposure, especially since most existing stablecoins are already dollar-pegged.
That makes me think a USD stablecoin could be part of Revolut’s long-term plans, but 2026 may simply be too soon.
So I’m sticking with NO. 🟥
Do you think I reading this correctly, or would you trade against me on @XOmarket? 👀

Here’s another interesting conviction market on XO: Who will win the 2026 Ballon d'Or? 🏆
I know the World Cup can play a huge role in Ballon d'Or voting, but it's only one piece of the puzzle. Club performances, consistency throughout the season, and major trophies all matter as well.
Looking at the full picture, I personally don't think Harry Kane or Lamine Yamal have done enough to deserve the award, even though they're currently the favorites on XO. Their World Cup performances have certainly boosted their chances, but I think last season's club football, especially the Champions League, should carry just as much weight.
If I had to choose, I'd go with Ousmane Dembélé. He had an outstanding season overall, won the Champions League, and also made a strong impact at the World Cup, finishing among the tournament's top scorers. That's why I'll be backing the "Any Other Player" option in this market.
That's just my take, though. Who do you think deserves to lift the 2026 Ballon d'Or? I'd be interested to hear your reasoning and if you're on @xomarket , it'll be fun to see where your conviction lies.😃
One clip from the @predicttime_ podcast featuring XO Market CEO, @AliHabbabeh, really stood out to me.
Ali talked about how sports betting has been around for decades, which explains why it has such a massive user base. Prediction markets, on the other hand, are still relatively new but are growing rapidly as more people discover their potential.
What resonated with me most was his point that virtually any event or asset can be transformed into a prediction market, including sports. We're already seeing this shift with platforms like @xomarket, where sports-related event prediction options are becoming an increasingly popular way to participate.
I share that perspective. Prediction markets are still in their early stages, but they're evolving quickly. Given time, I believe they'll become a much more familiar and widely used way for people to express their views on future events. ⚡️
