Do you know what's really in the food you order online? 🍔
@KELINKenya pushed Glovo Kenya to disclose its food labelling compliance measures, after our request went unanswered, we took it to the @KenyasOmbudsman.
We asked for details on ingredients, allergens, nutrition info & product warnings on Glovo's platform. Consumers ordering food digitally deserve the same protections as those shopping in person, especially people managing allergies or health conditions.
After the Commission's intervention, @glovo Kenya has now disclosed its compliance measures. A win for transparency, consumer rights & the right to health in Kenya's growing digital food economy.

BUYER BEWARE:
Anyone considering the purchase of a unit under the affordable housing programme (@boma_yangu) should understand that a home is only secure if the land on which it is built was acquired lawfully. Property rights do not attach to land acquired through an unlawful, irregular or unconstitutional process. Where the legality of land allocation or privatization is contested, purchasers assume real legal risk including the possibility of future nullification of titles. Due diligence must therefore go beyond marketing assurances and one must interrogate the legality of the entire acquisition process.

PULMONARY EMBOLISM
Public education by the Chief Government Pathologist and My classmate Dr Johansen Oduor.
Pulmonary embolism is a serious but often silent threat that can strike without warning.
Because its symptoms can be vague or mistaken for other illnesses, it's easy to miss - sometimes until it's too late.
That’s why it’s so important for the public to be aware of the signs, especially sudden shortness of breath, chest pain, or unexplained fatigue.
Staying active, knowing your personal risk factors, and seeking medical help quickly can save lives.
As more cases are being seen - even among people who don’t appear obviously at risk - it’s time to take this condition seriously and push for more awareness and early diagnosis to prevent sudden, avoidable deaths.
