Movement, Meaningful Connections, Mastery and Mindfulness can all be used to boost our mental health. Continue to reflect on these strategies and see our website for more info. The message on the fence says it all: Together we can support one another; together we can do anything!
One more thing - the Maryborough Staff was greeted with a surprise this morning when we found another sign had been added to the fence line yesterday! Thank you to the person who reached out to connect with us and our school community...it definitely "filled our bucket" today!
Mindfulness is our M for today, and this is anything that makes you feel calm, happy, or peaceful. Our quote from the fence reminds us that although we might face difficult times, it’s okay to feel different emotions; we just need strategies to help get back to the "green zone".
Our M today is for Mastery, or learning a new skill; and it’s okay to make mistakes as you practice a new skill. This connects to our quote on the fence today, as things might feel impossible at first, but you need to keep trying! See your child’s Classroom for more information.
Today's M is Meaningful Connections; and the importance of developing relationships to boost our mental health. The next quote has been added to the fence, and connects to the idea of when we work together, we are stronger! See your child's Classroom today for more information!
