A feeling of satisfaction from the inner most person in my 20s is all I want, not because I have it all figured out but it's a pace am aiming at,no forcing things to be or faking life that's not mine
listen, not everyone's trauma gives them thick skin. some people's trauma made them more sensitive and insecure, they cry more easily, get overwhelmed at small tings. The narrative that trauma makes you stronger is a lie. There is, power in acknowledging it and growing from it
Sometimes in your 20s or 30s you’ll get the opportunity to rebuild your life after a negative & traumatic loop. Heal from what broke you, live in your own space. Reconnect with your discipline and learn to love yourself again. It’s very important that you see that journey through
At this point, people really NEED to normalize bed rotting on Saturdays and Sundays. Let yourself rest without feeling guilty. Not every weekend needs to be productive. Sometimes, doing absolutely NOTHING is exactly what you need. You deserve to rest, too.
For the sake of your mental health, learn the difference between being fully chosen and simply being kept around. Being chosen means someone makes an effort to have you in their life. Being kept around means they give you just enough attention to keep you from leaving, but never enough to make you feel secure. One brings you peace. The other leaves you constantly questioning where you stand, overthinking every interaction and wondering whether you’re asking for too much. You deserve to be someone’s intentional choice, not someone’s convenient option. Stop settling for a place in someone’s life when what you really want is to know you belong there.
After years of surviving, some of us finally get a quiet window in our 20's or 30's. A little more room, fewer emergencies, the chance to build something gentler, better boundaries. Don’t rush past that season. Let yourself become someone who feels safe in their own life.
Nobody wants to work anymore because the reward is gone. Half of us are living paycheck to paycheck, with no savings for retirement or a house. Two paychecks away from homelessness. This is not laziness, it is pure exhaustion.
This. I've spent the last 18 months quietly working toward something used to only talk about. No one knew. No one funded it. Just me and the work. The day it became real, the pride was so quiet it almost hurt.
Observe yourself. Your patterns of thought. Behavior. Habits. Compulsions. Anxieties. Insecurities. Addictions. These limiting patterns are very things standing between you and the life you actually want to live. Sit with them. Once you face them, the unconscious becomes conscious. You become aware. And when you finally understand what they are and how they control you, you awaken. You become... unstoppable.
I hope more women stop waiting to be chosen or funded. The version of your life where you simply decide and then work until it's real is available. It's slower. It's harder. And it's so much more
yours.
