An EXTREMELY dangerous storm continues to produce wind gusts well over 100mph in Central South Dakota this morning.

A wind gust of 131mph was measured from this storm near Highmore. Seek shelter as if a tornado is approaching! These winds are strong enough to cause significant damage to homes.

@NWSNewOrleans explored the bayou from Larose to Raceland this afternoon in search of damage from last nights storms.

Lots of twigs and branches down, with the occasional tree toppled. All of the minor damage was in the Matthews vicinity and none of it appeared tornadic.
