Deuteronomy 30:3 God, your God, will restore everything you lost; he'll have compassion on you; he'll come back and pick up the pieces from all the places where you were scattered.
23 years ago, when I was in Grade 11, I met Dr @sthembete
She used to come to our school with @UCT_news through an organisation called SHAWCO. For some reason, she is the only person I remember from that group.
I can safely say that my obsession with going to UCT was inspired by her.
When I got to UCT, I joined SHAWCO and she later became my tutor.
To this day, she remains one of the women who inspired me deeply — without ever knowing it 🇿🇦❤️🇿🇦
Hurts me to say this: Africa will not be saved by entrepreneurship. We cannot vibecode ourselves into the 4th industrial revolution. We still need to industrialize. To achieve this, we need stronger and better public institutions. We need extremely competent leaders at the helm.
We must never forget the media houses that gladly and without any independent verification kept repeating the lies of Paul O’Sullivan and Fadiel Adams.
Two half-educated men who kept tarnishing the mechatronics engineer who chose to take her skills to serve the SAPS.
As someone who has lost a parent. I don’t remember calling my friends one by one to talk them. The friend who stays close to my house heard the news and told all my other friends.
Can’t be nursing friends’ feelings while grieving the loss of a parent.
Contractor came by this morning, shook my hand but not my wife’s.
Brother, I cannot emphasize enough how badly you have misidentified the decision maker in this transaction.
🇿🇦 Patrice Motsepe and why you have blackouts or loadshedding
Motsepe is Ramaphosa’s brother in law
In 2009 Patrice Motsepe said electricity was too cheap and that was preventing independent power producers from entering the South African market.
16years later electricity has gone up by over 600% and Mr Motsepe owns over 50% of the independent power stations

“Connect the dots”...‼️
Foreign nationals are purposely being obtuse about this SA citizen issue. Almost all African countries have no birthright citizenship and they understand this law in other countries but somehow fail to grasp it when they’re in South Africa.
🇺🇦The World Bank says 41% of Ukrainians are living under the poverty line. In the middle of a devastating war...
🇿🇦Meanwhile, 75% of Black South Africans live under the poverty line
The number is 1% for White South Africans🇿🇦
There’s a lot to be “learned” from this.
