What happened Yesterday in some Parts of Kiruhura, Kazo and Mbarara should be condemned by leaders and not promoted by them. We are building Uganda not kingdoms. Common Practice shouldn’t be taken as good will, No, it’s Common Practice, it’s respect of Law and Order. Leaders organizing supporters to deny space and to refuse to listen to one another isn’t only backward but it’s primitive. In this era, the country we are building, welcomes all even when you tend to disagree with them, you don’t beat them but give them reception.

We can’t be thinking and bragging that we are educated and literate yet make education and exposure useless when required to be applied. We cannot claim to be progressing yet some acts show otherwise.

Presidential candidates irrespective of their political affiliation, are within the Law to reach everywhere. For as long as they are within the prescribed boundaries.

It is at the times like these that show how much we’ve matured, it is at this time that we show the world that they are welcome to live with us, invest in us, Learn from us, Research and tour our country. It is times like these that we give confidence to the rest of the world that we are ready for acceptable global standards that are meant to attract tourists and investment opportunities.

By doing what happened Yesterday. We continue to drag our Country behind.

Among the gains that should be protected by the NRM, is the continued commitment to growing democracy, Cohesion, Unity in diversity and equality.

Let’s now spoil this gain. It is the driver of all we are standing on.
