Today I did my 242nd parkrun, and apparently yesterday was my 101st time as a run director 🥳 I need to work out when I’m going to do my 250th parkrun, possibly in March, so I can get some cake ordered.
Britain deserves better than this revolving door of Tory chaos.
The British people are paying the price for 12 years of failure.
It's time for a general election and a Labour government.
I helped set up a junior parkrun that is still helping kids get active and I’m now an ambassador helping other parkrun teams.
Thank you everyone who has helped me along this journey so far, particularly you Barbara Bayliss, and here’s to the next 250 volunteers 🔵
It was the 250th time I’ve volunteered at a parkrun this weekend🧡🟢 Definitely the best thing I’ve ever done was offering to help out at Watergrove back in January 2015 (joining the Harriers being a close second⚫️🔴🟡).
I didn’t know then that it would lead to me joining the core team at Watergrove and becoming a parkrun ambassador let alone all the friends I’ve made along the way. I love being a part of parkrun, that on any given Saturday I’ll know at least half of the runners at Watergrove.
Happy New Year everyone 🥳🎊🎉 so NYE in isolation could be worse, symptoms have gone (💉💉💉) and I’m watching Thor: Ragnarok with beer and a takeaway 🍺🥡
Wishing all my friends and family a Happy New Year and ffs this one’s got to be better than the last one, right?
As isolating means means my running in 2021 is over here’s my year in running #stravawanker. Not bad considering, well, 2021😕 On to 250 volunteers @parkrunUK in 2022 🟢
As an editor on the @Wgroveparkrun Facebook page today I’ve been getting notifications on all our posts and pictures all day, every time I look at my phone there’s another half dozen or more, it’s been going on all day and it’s f-king brilliant 😁 #loveparkrun
In ancient Babylon, New Year's celebrations involved slapping the king in the face. If the king cried, this was considered a good omen.
🎉 Happy New Year everyone! 🎉
Happy new year to all my friends and family 🎉🥳🎉 hopefully this dumpster fire of a year will disappear rapidly in the rearview as we get back to some normality 🤞🤞
