Thank you to @BonaFideMasks for donating to the maskbloc a large number of KN95s that we immediately put to distributing to our community! Thank you @sdaction1 for partnering with us to acquire and share this donation!
Hey there #COVIDisNotOver friends. My wife @mchristinebd and I put our heads together and made a flier about basic COVID-19 precautions - particularly for small events/gatherings. All the icons and entire flier are CC0/public domain/free to use: https://t.co/mt1in24cHQ 🧵1/2

Disabled people are not bad people for wanting access to society. Unfortunately, it's been so normalized that disabled people are shut out of society that if we ask for any kind of accommodations, we're often seen as "angry" or "bitter." We all deserve to be a part of society.
There will be more actions to take on this soon, but for now, it's worth leaving a comment on the CDC's announcement that they are revising their guidelines in response to public feedback. You can do that here: https://t.co/5gejUMIOs0
At this point I'm convinced that the lack of air purification in venues is NOT due to owners' ignorance.
When I educate them on it, AND on how it could save them money long term, they still refuse.
There's an active *hostility* to safety measures that must be reckoned with.
@SFdirewolf@UCSFHospitals Also, if anyone has requested Covid-related ADA accommodations at UCSF and has had them turned down, please also contact Dr. Wendy Tobias, UCSF’s ADA coordinator. Her contact info is below. https://t.co/VlKLk75uII
An update from @SFdirewolf. See her linked blog post for ways to take action to demand #N95s4UCSF. Unconscionable, @UCSFHospitals, you need to do better.
People should ABSOLUTELY be calling out @UCSFHospitals for their lack of universal mask mandates to protect patients. Please contact them. It does not need to be in response to @SFdirewolf’s current stay. UCSF needs to supply all staff with N95s. And they need to wear them!
The UC Regents meeting is coming up (1/23-1/25) and is open to the public. It's at UCSF. If you'd like to comment on the need for universal masking in UCSF's healthcare settings, or anything else, you have until 5pm on 1/22 to submit a request here: https://t.co/T6Ci7B2P2i

@SFdirewolf We’ve fought UCSF with @sdaction1 and they still refuse to protect patients by not requiring universal masking with N95s or better. Staff wear surgical masks or don’t wear them at all. UCSF needs to do better.
@coffeeteanxiety@UCSF UCSF has refused to reinstate universal masking AND refuses to supply or encourage employees to wear anything above a surgical mask.
