It is sobering and almost frightening to me the extent to which having a Twitter account is now an absolute necessity for keeping yourself safe and informed about pressing local and provincial news events in real time.
It's become BC's de facto emergency alert system.

@drmwarner Even with superior ventilation, superior masks and contact tracing it is NOT safe. Close friends/family working at SDM. Set up testing at the provincial legislature & MP offices if it is such a good idea.
@drmwarner@khawlis Late October I took my symptomatic son to be tested in Mississauga. A parking lot with an open tent. It made sense.
(No Covid, flu thankfully)
@drmwarner Putting SDM employees & shoppers at risk. Irresponsible and Negligent. Policy will INCREASE COVID transmission in society. Class action waiting to be filed.
Symptomatic individuals aren't allowed to go to work, go to school or visit a hospital....yet they're allowed to co-mingle with vulnerable and (some) unvax'd patrons of SDM.
Without superior ventilation, N95 masks & contact tracing of all customers, this isn't safe.
Only for those outside for 3 days or less. PCR tests not accurate - double vaxed and received -ve PCR. Day after arrival in Canada person gets COVID. Explanation is PCR may not be able to screen for COVID if vaxed & recently infected due to "viral load" at time of PCR.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but the Minister of Education of our country's largest province probably shouldn't be identifying your minor child by their image, name, grade, and school on a public twitter account followed by 61+ thousand people.
