CONFIRMED: Good news. The Carers Allowance earnings threshold will be increased from £151 to at least £181 in the #Budget tomorrow, starting April 2025. So carers can earn more and still receive the allowance.

Still waiting to hear...
- Will the allowance itself increase
- Crucially will they replace the cliff-edge with a taper (ie you don't lose all the money for just being 1p over)

🚴‍♀️ Our Viking Link team hosted an incredible charity bike ride this week, raising over £20K for @Masks_charity and @PrimroseHospice🌟 

The team travelled over 400km, from the NSL converter station at Blyth, all the way to the new Viking Link site at Bicker Fen 😱 

The event has made a great impact and shown the power of community, all in time to celebrate #BikeWeek. Thank you to everyone involved!
