I am shocked and deeply concerned by the sudden news of the resignation of Shri C. V. Ananda Bose, the Governor of West Bengal.
The reasons behind his resignation are not known to me at this moment. However, given the prevailing circumstances, I would not be surprised if the Governor has been subjected to some pressure from the Union Home Minister to serve certain political interests on the eve of the forthcoming State Assembly elections.
Union Home Minister just informed me that Shri R.N. Ravi is being appointed as Governor of West Bengal. He never consulted with me as per the established convention in this regard.
Such actions undermine the spirit of the Constitution of India and strike at the very foundation of our federal structure. The Centre must respect the principles of cooperative federalism and refrain from taking unilateral decisions that erode democratic conventions and the dignity of States.
Singur is the very soil where ordinary farmers stood up to extraordinary injustice, where fear was defeated by courage, and where Bengal proved that development cannot be built on dispossession.
And now, Smt. @MamataOfficial returns to this historic land, the leader who stood as a shield between the vulnerable and the mighty, who turned protest into purpose and struggle into governance rooted in justice.
Bengal will never bow to coercion. People’s rights will always come before corporate greed. And the spirit of Singur, fearless, uncompromising, unbreakable, will continue to shape our politics and our future.

Our relationship with the people of Alipurduar is forged in trust and shared struggle. @BJP4India has not only betrayed this district, it is now attempting to steal the democratic rights of ordinary citizens by misusing the Election Commission through the SIR process. But under the resolute leadership of Hon’ble CM @MamataOfficial and Shri @abhishekaitc, our fight to protect democracy marches on, unafraid and unwavering.
It was the Ma–Mati–Manush government that raised tea workers’ wages to ₹250. When we return to power in 2026, increasing these wages further through tripartite discussions will be our first priority.
The people of Alipurduar, the true custodians of democracy, will deliver BJP’s defeat and ensure a resounding victory for the Trinamool Congress.

After the resounding success of our first edition, we have now launched #Sebaashray2, a renewed commitment to bring healthcare to every doorstep, every community, and every individual who needs it most.
This mission is guided by a single, unwavering principle: service above self, citizens above politics. Every interaction, every dose of medicine, every step taken to connect someone to specialist care is a pledge that governance can be empathetic, forward-looking, and inseparable from the lived realities of the people.
With Sebaashray 2, we are not just delivering healthcare; we are reshaping how care reaches the citizen, building a model that is replicable, sustainable, and driven by humanity at its core.
The Broker Prime Minister…
A day after a deadly bomb blast on the national capital that killed 13 innocent Indians, PM @narendramodi went to Bhutan to celebrate the birthday of the King of Bhutan and do some photo shoot!
If that wasn’t cringe enough, next day morning daily’s published a story how Adani will set up a Hydro Power Project in Bhutan…
Coincidence??
NO
This has happened too many times before for it to be a coincidence…
It’s shameful that when Indians are been ripped to shreds in the national capital by sticky bombs, the Prime Minister is busy brokering a deal for his chief Financier…
The Shamelessness of this Man amazes me..

A woman’s suffering has once again been reduced to political arithmetic. For five months, a doctor in Maharashtra was assaulted repeatedly in a government institution, an institution meant to heal, now corrupted under BJP’s watch.
Her final act was not one of weakness but of exhaustion, exhaustion with a system that refused to protect her. And yet, there is no statement from @BJP4India, no outrage from @Dev_Fadnavis, and no empathy from @NCWIndia. The same people who issue press notes when Bengal sneezes have suddenly lost their voices. This selective morality is their only policy.

Firecrackers CHOKE Delhi, PM2.5 hits 1,763 µg/m³. But poof—77% of Air Monitors GO DARK.
Only 9 out of 39 stations dare report the poison. Recurring "Glitch" every smog season, right when spikes scream the truth.
Delhi’s air quality in shambles: 36/38 monitoring stations have hit the 'red zone,' AQI is above 400 in key areas.
Delhi remains among the world’s most polluted capital.
Our “Swadeshi” PM @narendramodi was seen with a Philips Air Purifier but people of Delhi left to breathe toxic fumes.
The Cost?
8.2 years shaved off Delhi lives (AQLI 2025).
No Data = No Outrage = Endless Smog.
Democracy Dies in the Data void.
Accountability? Dead.
Delhi? Gas Chamber.
Rekha Gupta? Reels.
AITC under the inspiration and guidance of Hon’ble Chairperson Smt. @MamataOfficial is pleased to announce the list of new Trinamool Congress Block/Town Presidents for Mother, Youth, Mahila & INTTUC Frontals in Basirhat Organizational District.
Bijoya Sammilani in Debra, Ghatal District was marked by the heartfelt participation of the local community, whose enthusiasm and spontaneity made the celebrations truly memorable. Witnessing such devotion and unity fills us with gratitude.
May the blessings of Maa Durga illuminate every home with joy, prosperity, and hope, and may we come together once again next year to celebrate her divine presence.

Durga Puja unites people beyond all differences, spreading the message of harmony and togetherness.
To celebrate the spirit and significance of this grand festival, Bijoya Sammilani gatherings are being organised across the state, bringing together party leaders and thousands of people in a vibrant expression of Bengal’s unity and joy.
Eleven migrant workers from Murshidabad, who had been employed in Oman, were left stranded after being defrauded by an unscrupulous recruitment agency. Abandoned and without support, they were forced to wander from place to place in distress.
Upon learning of their plight, our Maa-Maati-Manush Sarkar immediately intervened to ensure their safety and well-being. Owing to the proactive efforts, the workers are now under the care of the Indian Embassy in Oman, where they have been provided with food and shelter.
These individuals, who left their homes in search of livelihood, have now appealed for assistance to return to their families. We earnestly hope that the Ministry of External Affairs will take swift and compassionate action to facilitate their safe repatriation at the earliest.
Abhishek Banerjee: The Youth Icon

Maha Ashtomi is the very soul of Durga Puja. The anjali, the dhak, the fragrance of incense together they remind us of the sanctity of courage and sacrifice.
On this day, may we imbibe the spirit of the Mother, who stood against tyranny and protected the weak. Let her blessings guide us in building a society rooted in equality, harmony and unity.
