Happy Pride Month! The MPTC celebrates the diversity that strengthens our communities. By fostering trust, strengthening community relationships, and supporting equitable policing, we remain committed to ensuring all people are treated with dignity, respect, and fairness.
Last week we welcomed police officials from Mexico for a day of learning, collboration & info sharing. They toured Marlborough Academy, explored training programs, saw a SWAT vehicle display, experience our MILO simulator & engaged in valuable questions and discussion.
The MPTC honors and remembers the brave individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to others. We recognize the lasting impact they have left on their country, communities and their families.
Today, we stand in gratitude and remembrance.

National Police Week provides an important opportunity to honor the courage and sacrifice of the men and women who serve in law enforcement, while reaffirming the importance of trust, respect, and partnership between police and the communities they protect.
This year, in the wake of the death of Trooper Kevin Trainor, Secretary Kwon and our entire team would like to thank the thousands of troopers and officers from across the country who stood shoulder to shoulder in tribute to our fallen hero. Their presence and support have been a powerful source of strength during this time of profound loss.
In the wake of this tragedy, we echo the words of Governor Maura Healey, who encouraged people to “go out and find a police officer, find a trooper, and take the time to give them a hug” — a simple but meaningful reminder to show appreciation for those who put themselves in harm’s way to protect others every day
During National Police Week, we honor the bravery and sacrifice of law enforcement throughout Massachusetts and across the country. This week is a solemn reminder of those who who put their lives on the line, including the tremendous loss of Trooper Kevin Trainor.
Today we celebrate the graduation of the MPTC East Falmouth 2nd ROC! After an intense 20+ weeks of training, these new officers are prepared to serve and we wish them all the best for a safe and successful career ahead!
