Serving to destroy the Covenant alliance of 31 teams opposing the supremacy and reign of our fearless leader… Patrick Mahomes. To aid his quest for Lombardis.
The vast majority of this fanbase does not appreciate Patrick to the degree that they should, or even at all in some cases.
If you’re a fan of KC, then you should want Patrick to be able to maximize his potential and stay on track for “GOAT” status. I would gladly mortgage the team’s future over the next 10 years to give Patrick as many “bites at the apple” as possible even if that means we’re going to have some rough years in 2040 and beyond. I couldn’t care less about that and people who are penny pinching and whining about cap space or counting our draft picks in 2029 are not serious individuals nor have any idea how to utilize a player like Mahomes.
@jonwsly6 Hey I questioned that too, basically said we chose Bolton over McDuffie (and that was before the CB market totally exploded). Karlaftis was a desperate move and I at least understood that a tiny bit. Paying Bolton was always going to be a disaster.
This is actually the exact clip to describe the Chiefs trading away McDuffie just to use their only high pick of the Mahomes era on a player whose pro-comp is McDuffie
Player seems awesome but the process is awful regardless of how it plays out.
@Nate_Knows_Ball draft again (Edge/WR). If the players we passed up on are all busts then fine, but we’ve shown we don’t pay 2nd contracts to CBs (unless MAYBE they’re PS2 level)
@Nate_Knows_Ball We have shown to develop day 3 CBs into pro bowl or fringe pro bowl caliber players on a regular basis, it’s literally the one thing we do well. In a vacuum that pick NEEDED to go towards an excellent player at a premium position that they will likely never be in position (1/2)
@Mr_NiggaStrong@priceacarter 100%. That’s my issue. If they had integrity, they’d just say “I love the player but hate the way we got him.” But instead it’s “Wow Veach is a genius.”
Fake.
Just cover his body in stickem, crowdfund to pay his fines for it, and maybe he can work out 😂 God gave him everything but hands (and route running FWIW)
Canady has definitely been my draft crush to fix the slot, maybe with him there along with Delane/Nohl outside…. We might be able to pull off the 2023 Defense again? 😅 could be total copium but I have to hope for something when the pass catchers didn’t move the needle
Mansoor Delane allowed 7 first downs in coverage in 2025, per @PFF.
The only Power 4 CB to allow fewer was Jadon Canady (5).
Among 185 CB with 30+ targets in coverage.
This will be the discussion with Mansoor Delane: Can he not only be better than Jordyn Tyson, Reuben Bain, Sonny Styles ane Caleb Downs, but better than any of those players PLUS pick 74 (CB Tacario Davis went at 72, for reference). A lot to ask of the kid! But that’s the bet Veach made.
Elijah Sarratt or Bryce Lance moving the needle at 109 for the offense? I kinda like them but not like they’re taking the reins as WR1. Almost wonder if you take McCoy if the Chiefs are higher on his medicals than most and we just have a lockdown defense like crazy.
Our TMAs were hit 50 times last year. Fifty.

Kind of forcing yourself into that situation with this process tbh. If Rice becomes a perennial 1k+ receiver who keeps his nose clean from now on fine, but you BETTER hope that’s the case…
