MP Court Convicts 14 Cow Vigilantes in Mob Lynching Case
On August 3, 2022, Nazir Ahmed was brutally beaten to death by a mob in Madhya Pradesh's Seoni Malwa tehsil over allegations of cattle smuggling.
Nearly four years later, an Additional District and Sessions Court in Seoni Malwa has convicted 14 accused and sentenced them to life imprisonment.
The verdict triggered emotional scenes outside the court. Family members of the convicts broke down, protested the sentence, and attempted to stop police vehicles from taking the convicted men to jail. Some relatives even lay down in front of the vehicles, leading to a scuffle with police personnel.
After considerable effort, the police brought the situation under control and transferred all 14 convicts to jail.
Speaking to the media, some family members claimed that the youths had been drawn into the incident in the name of gau seva (cow protection), but that it ultimately resulted in a tragic loss of life.

बिहार का एक युवक बिना हेलमेट पहने मेडिकल स्टोर गया क्योंकि उसके घर में किस की तबीयत खराब थी इस ट्राफिक पुलिस वाले ने उसका चालन किया।

मध्य प्रदेश के धार जिले के उटावा गांव में पानी की समस्या आज भी लोगों के लिए बड़ी चुनौती बनी हुई है. ग्रामीणों का दावा है कि पाइपलाइन बिछने के बावजूद उन्हें नियमित जलापूर्ति नहीं मिल रही. हालात ऐसे हैं कि महिलाओं को रोजाना दूर स्थित एक गहरी खाई तक पहुंचकर जमीन से रिसते पानी को इकट्ठा करना पड़ता है. यह स्थिति ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में बुनियादी सुविधाओं और जमीनी चुनौतियों पर कई सवाल खड़े करती है.

पिछले 2-3 दिनों से उनका पार्थिव शरीर हिंदुस्तान आने की राह देख रहा है, लेकिन मोदी सरकार की तरफ से कोई मदद नहीं की जा रही।

उनका शव सड़ रहा है, जिसे बचाने के लिए उनके साथी पानी की ठंडी बोतलों का इस्तेमाल करने को मजबूर हैं।

नरेंद्र मोदी एक कमजोर प्रधानमंत्री हैं, जिनकी नाकामी का खामियाजा भारत के नागरिक मरने के बाद भी चुका रहे हैं।

हमारी मांग है कि मोदी सरकार जल्द से जल्द निशांत जी के पार्थिव शरीर को सम्मान के साथ भारत वापस लाए।
