San Antonio, Texas - 6/28/24- Three children (including an infant) were left unattended in a non-running vehicle in front of a shopping center. Temperatures in San Antonio reached triple digits yesterday.

Thankfully the driver door was unlocked, and this hero, Pati Velazquez, was able to call authorities and remove the children from the hot car.

Video surveillance shows that the mother was inside the store for an hour. She was immediately arrested by SA PD.

NEW: Man who punched a disabled man in Manhattan may avoid jail time after blaming the attack on his *diabetes.*

The NYC justice system is moronic.

Andrew Caban is blaming his diabetes for sucker-punching 61-year-old Richard Regen.

It gets worse. Regen was forced to undergo brain surgery due to the attack, spent 30 days in the hospital and now lives with frequent seizures.

At the time of the attack, he was headed to rehab for his stroke he suffered a couple years earlier.

Caban says he is "sorry" that his diabetes caused the attack.

"I’ve suffered diabetes for a very long time from a very young age. I’ve had hypoglycemic episodes previously, and I’m so sorry this has happened," he said in Manhattan Criminal Court.

"I was reckless. There were no intentions at all. I had no intentions to harm him."

Caban is trying to claim he didn't "fully recall" what happened because of his diabetes.

Caban faced up to a year in jail but pleaded guilty to reckless assault in the third degree which means he may get off with "just a slap on the wrist" under a sweetheart plea deal. (NY Post)

NEW: Teenager blasts woman with a pressurized hose at a car wash after the driver rolls her window down and throws a drink at her.

Instant karma.

The incident happened at an Indiana car wash while 18-year-old Anna Harycki was working.

"I picked up the pressure washer and started spraying down their car. The girl rolled down her window and threw lemonade at me, and I was in shock."

Harycki said her immediate "reaction" was to just blast the driver with the water.

The customer and her boyfriend were then banned from the car wash for life.
