I had an interview with a recent college grad earlier who asked me a question about the Israel-Palestine issue, bringing up the slant his generation faces, which is mostly the Palestinian propaganda and its high effectiveness, in a nutshell. He asked me if there was some way people that age could approach the issue differently that would be productive, like asking Israel to "wrap up the war" or whatever.

The answer to that is no, as I told him. Israel has no interest in this war and would love to see it wrapped up, but it isn't going to compromise on the security of its citizens or its state to make propagandized Western youth happy, and they shouldn't. That's what I told him.

I explained that the Palestinian mode is to provoke, to start fighting, and to reject any plan for peace, and then to frame Israel's responses and security measures as "genocide" or some kind of disproportionate and undeserved aggression and violence. What needs to be done is to shatter this propaganda, not ask Israel not to prioritize the security of its citizens and national integrity.

To ask Israel to "wrap up the war" or whatever is to ask them to sit there and play nice until the terrorists among their neighbors kill innocents among them and then, I suppose, merely to tolerate it, indefinitely, never knowing when something absolutely horrendous will visit them. No one would accept this situation, and no one should be asked to accept it.

The Palestinian propaganda environment that has affected Western populations, especially Western youth, is simply a spell that must be broken. It is as simple as that.

Tomorrow, the 25th anniversary of 9/11, seems like an abnormally perfect day to start.
