In Collin County, Texas, a jury of 12 people and 6 alternates — none of them Black — was selected today for the trial of Karmelo Anthony.

Anthony, a Black teenager, is charged with murder in the 2025 stabbing death of white student Austin Metcalf at a Frisco track meet. Anthony claims self-defense. His defense team accused prosecutors of improperly striking the final three Black candidates from the jury pool.

The selection of an all-white jury in this racially charged case has sparked debate about fairness and public confidence in the verdict. Critics point to past cases, such as the acquittal of Asian store owner Chikei Rick Chow by an all-white jury despite strong evidence against him.

Andy Beshear of Kentucky is a possible 2028 presidential candidate since he is a Democratic governor of a ruby red state. @BlackAlphaNetw1 asked him a question about what specific policies can be done for Black Americans (Freedmen). He asked him if he supported reparations. Listen to how Beshear completely avoids the question and then gets flustered and leaves when he is not allowed to dodge the topic.

The Democrats are willing to protest on behalf of and offer specific policies for LGBTQ, illegal immigrants, Asian Americans, Jews, corporations, and other groups, but when it comes to Black Americans (Freedmen), unfortunately, their most loyal constituency, we get nothing.

Beshear could have talked about how we could get policies based on our status as Freedmen, since you cannot do policies based on race, and those of us who have the lineage that makes us FBA/Freeedmen would be entitled to reparations, services from the Freedmen's Bureau, and more.
