With Ukraine continuing to push back successfully against Russia and Trump potentially returning to the negotiating table, it seems the Ukraine Peace Basket might be ripe for a move up.

Agree with @hkuppy's view on trade colleges. I think $LGCY is a great addition to the list at an even better valuation, if your size allows it.
$VAL is the most basic kind of sentiment turnaround play. All stocks go through a time where it doesn't matter what the quarter was like, it still goes down.
Almost 100% of the time, the sentiment has a reversal if fundamentals are right.
@davidecapital@Fierce__beast I have been only trying it out for a short time but seems interesting for an additional insight or two from the expert calls. Why donโt you like it?
I have been shorting $ZIP for some time.
Secular long-term pressure from AI-driven reduction in hiring, competition from LinkedIn and others, unprofitability, and a guaranteed drop in hiring during economic slowdowns make this attractive as both a hedge and an alpha short even after the big drop.
1.5% of NAV.
Anyone longing this care to share their thesis?

Bad take.
Mostly crowded shorts lost money yesterday. Also, shorts are not there to provide returns long term (if they doโ great!), they are there to allow you to have more exposure to the long book without risking a blow-up during a bad year.
Yesterday my long book made 2% and short book lost 0.3% - case in point.
Stanley Druckenmiller: "I am not sure whether I have ever made money on my shorts."
Many investors were short at the start of the year, and we got a great rally yesterday.
That's why I never short even if the market is expensive.
Timing is pure luck. It's a gamble.
Long basket up 1%, short basket up 0.23% + running 147.3% gross, 95% net. Will most likely increase shorts soon as I find more opportunities, but not too worried as Iโm running about 30 (semi) uncorrelated bets across 60-something positions.
Really enjoyed the recent @orrdavid podcasts, so trying to apply some of his philosophy to my portfolio.
