Dan Bongino says classified intelligence showed Iran posed far more than a nuclear threat, pointing to cyberattacks, assassination plots, and what he calls a regime willing to use any weapon it acquires:
“If we had that Men in Black mind-wipe device and could read everyone into the President’s Daily Brief every morning, I promise you that even some of his most hardcore critics would say, ‘Wow, he definitely made the right call.’ I’m limited in what I can say, but I’ll tell you this: it wasn’t just the nuclear threat that was urgent. It was the cyber threat the Iranians were engaged in, the lethal plotting, and the assassination attempts. And I want everyone listening to remember this: they do not subscribe to the idea of mutually assured destruction. They do not act with the same logic or restraint as other adversaries. Even Putin, however dangerous he may be, does not want a nuclear weapon hitting Moscow. But the Iranians, in my view, are different. It is a bloodthirsty theocracy. If you give them the ability to kill us—if you hand them the gun—they’re going to use it.”
Want to save the West? Start by telling your children the truth.
A society that teaches its children to hate their inheritance shouldn't be surprised when they fail to preserve it.
Teach your children gratitude. Teach them why freedom matters. Teach them what made the West successful.
Because if you don't tell them the truth about their civilisation, someone else will tell them a lie.
This is true. But it doesn't matter.
No one is actually trying to convince anyone here. It's a vocabulary for organizing hatred as a substitute for accountability and responsibility.
Massie isn't really commemorating the death of US servicemembers. He's trying to make all politics -- every problem and dysfunction and discomfort in American public life -- about the Jews. Sorry, about Israel. Which is completely different for as long as it needs to be to spread its tentacles in the culture.
This happened before. In the Arab world as it awakened from the fall of empire.
After centuries of corrupt and debilitating Ottoman rule and decades under European imperial rule, the Arabs had finally emerged from the shackles of foreign government. Decolonization and the retreat of empire was an opportunity to build something new and grand and beautiful.
But they never seized the opportunity. They instead fell back on a politics of grievance, of tyrannical secular nationalists competing with tyrannical religious extremists for who could blame everyone else for every problem -- and chief among them, of course, the Jews.
Incidentally, the early Arab governments also insisted they weren't against Jews, only against Israel and Zionism...right up until every last Jew was made to flee.
In Iraq, Jews faced violence and discriminatory laws. In Morocco pogroms. In place after place, regimes told their populations that the problem was the Jews -- sorry, Zionists -- with their conspiratorial and nefarious ways.
And once all politics had organized around one target of blame, there was no space left for accountability, for responsibility, for anything better than the Nassers, Qaddafis, Imam Yahyas, Assads and even the Ben Bellas and Boumedienes -- the heroes of Algerian liberation who subsequently turned Algeria into a corrupt and impoverished dictatorship.
It's not a new trick. It's the oldest trick in the book. It's always, always a grift, and always a harbinger of decline and failure.
Massie's obsession with ahistorical lies about Israel, like Nasser's and Qaddafi's and all the rest, isn't a war on Israel. It's a war on America.
Let’s run this to its logical conclusion:
1. What do we get from Israel
- The most sophisticated missile defense technology in the world, Iron Dome, David’s Sling, Arrow, systems the U.S. helped fund and now benefits from directly from.
- Decades of battlefield intelligence on Russian and Iranian weapons systems that no other ally can provide Israel has shot down, captured and reverse engineered Soviet/Russian equipment for 50 years and shared everything with the U.S.
- Cybersecurity technology: Israel is arguably the world’s leading cybersecurity nation. Unit 8200 alumni built much of the technology American companies and government agencies now use.
- A stable democratic military ally in the most strategically vital and volatile region on earth.
- Real world testing of American weapons systems in live combat conditions.
Okay. Now let’s do Russia:
- Russia is actively at war with a U.S.-backed country right now.
- Their economy is roughly the size of Texas.
- They have a declining population, a crumbling military exposed by Ukraine, and an authoritarian government with no rule of law.
- The alliance would rest on Putins word until he dies or changes his mind.
What would they offer us again?
Natural resources we don’t need because we’re the world’s largest oil producer. Military technology that Ukraine has demonstrated is significantly inferior to Western systems. And a government that has actively poisoned people on NATO soil, and whose strategic interests directly conflict with American ones in Europe, the Arctic and Asia.
Brilliant plan. No wonder Russia increased their disinformation opp money to 5 billion a year.
I agree with every word Sam Harris says here about Israel, and I'll go further. The preoccupation with this country is antisemitism. There is no other explanation for how that, of all the world's many brutal dictatorships and ongoing famines, all of Europe and the Middle East is obsessed with this tiny scrap of land and what the people that rule it defensively and democratically, in a sea of aggressive tyrants, are doing. Any country subjected to such unrelenting scrutiny by those already predisposed to be suspicious of it would come out looking evil, and that's before the lying and semantic games.
If you believe that no criticism of Israel can be antisemitic, and that the antisemitic Arab world is not interested in destroying it, with the applause of most of antisemitic Europe, I'm sorry, but you live in an alternate reality and we have nothing to discuss.
Florida processes more than 10 million votes in a matter of hours.
California takes days — or sometimes even weeks — to count the votes.
It’s pathetic — and it’s corrosive to our civic culture.
Not caring about him wheeling six chicks at once when he was married is your choice

The U.S. decision to distance itself from UN bodies it views as systematically biased against Israel should surprise no one.
Between 2015 and 2024, the UN General Assembly adopted 173 resolutions against Israel and 80 against all other countries combined.
In 2024 alone, it passed 17 resolutions against Israel and just 1 against Iran.
Freedom House scores Israel 73/100 ("Free") and Iran 10/100 ("Not Free"). Iran reportedly executed at least 975 people in 2024.
You do not need to be pro-Israel to see the problem. This is not a human rights agenda. It is institutional bias.
This is not a single episode. It's a pattern with a purpose.
The verbal, videotaped assault on Helen Mirren — a highly recognizable public figure — is part of a calculated censorship playbook: scare non-Jews into silence about Israel. Make the cost of speaking out high enough that most people decide it's not worth it.
We have seen this before. Before the Third Reich passed its first major anti-Jewish legislation in 1935, Nazi goons spent more than a decade harassing, assaulting, and humiliating Jews in public. The "good ordinary Germans" said nothing. That silence allowed a fringe hatred to grow into sanctioned state policy. Those few Germans who did speak out got muscled by the Brown Shirts into silence. It worked. And when the machinery of government turned toward isolation, disenfranchisement, ghettoization, and ultimately deportation to concentration camps, the Jews had no one standing with them.
I am not saying that is where the world is heading for Jews in Western countries today. What I am saying is that we are living through something that rhymes uncomfortably with the late 1920s and early 1930s — a moment when non-Jews who spoke up for Jews were themselves targeted into silence.
Yesterday, @trishaposner shared a clip of CNBC's @JoeSquawk, who said plainly that in 2026 antisemites hide behind the label of anti-Zionist. The tsunami of hate that flooded his mentions proved his point in real time.
Now, in London, the same cudgel is swung at Helen Mirren. The attack is filmed deliberately so it can be shared and go viral. The goal isn't just one woman — it's intimidation at scale. It's silence by example.
The Nazis, too, were once dismissed as a bunch of street thugs who'd eventually burn themselves out.
Don't fool yourself by dismissing the daily accumulation of anti-Jewish fervor as mere street noise. That's exactly what they said about the Brown Shirts.
It’s been obvious Cenk is mentally ill for a long time.
You can go back a decade and watch him screaming, out of breath, on air like a deranged lunatic.
Of course, being an Islamist who named his media company after genocidal Turks was probably the biggest tip-off.
Billions of people around the world are poor. They don’t sell their daughters to be raped by old men. BBC is disgusting for covering this with empathy.
NEW from me
Zohran Mamdani has held multiple visits with a Holocaust-denying sheikh who has claimed Jewish deaths were "exaggerated" and "done by Zionists"
Mamdani recently said at sheikh Fadhel Al-Sahlani’s mosque that "It feels like returning home to be here"
