Emily Bryant's research combines material culture studies & ethnography. The picture is an #Egyptian amulet with the backdrop of the Khan el-Khalili bazaar, Cairo. Using anthropological methods, she's helping provide contextual background for the IUMAA collection. #AnthroDay

Various attempts have been made to get #anthropology into K-12. The Anthro. Curriculum Study Project at @UChicago was one of them. Our museum educator, Sarah, is studying how this fits into curriculum history. #AnthropologyDay #AnthroDay
