Green shirt day @LadnerElem today! Humbled to work alongside such a supportive staff who helped spread awareness about organ donation this week. Jack was fortunate to receive a liver transplant 4.5 years ago and his story continues to be a great source of inspiration. @deltasd37
Our staff vs Grade 6/7 basketball game was so much fun! Amazing to see how much our students skills have progressed since the start of the season. Grateful for a staff that is always up for some competition! @deltasd37

Thank you @GrayLearners for the invitation to be part of your Read All Day event. The students were excellent audience members! It was wonderful to be able to walk the halls of a school that means so much to me and to see so many staff members who remain such incredible friends.❤️
Introverts are not quiet, they wait. To feel safe. To feel free to open up. To feel the trust to let you in their mystical worlds. They may seem closed off at the beginning. But once you're in, trust me you'll be blown away by what lies behind those walls.
Let me help you write your Monday lesson plans ...

Today I reunited with someone I had taught as a Grade 6 student, 10 years ago. What a full circle moment, listening to her describe her excitement as a future teacher. I could not be more proud of this young woman and cannot wait to be able to call her a colleague very soon.
Friendly reminder that it's extremely important to pronounce student names correctly.
It's a part of their identity.
If you aren't sure about a name, ask the student.
This book was exactly what I needed to read! It validated how I feel as an introvert in so many social situations. Thank you @susancain, you have left so much more for me to think about as a school leader, partner and parent with two sons; one an extrovert and one an introvert.
To be clear, this is not a knock on one soccer who actually invests in our program. This is a SHAME ON YOU to TSN, Sportsnet etc for not investing EQUALLY.
How frustrating to have such a competitive national women’s soccer team and not be able to see them live on TV, particularly during a #ConcacafWchampionship.Tonight’s game should have been televised live @TSN_Sports@CBC@Sportsnet.Someone needs to step up here. @CanadaSoccerEN
Grateful to work @LadnerElem with a school community who opened their hearts to #GreenShirtDay today. Humbled and honoured to share Jack’s health journey and why organ donation means so much. @deltasd37@BC_Transplant
When men’s sports are treated as the default for all sport, women’s sports get left out of the conversation. It’s time to add the M to shift perception and create change. Visit https://t.co/6g2yMvCQ4O to download your badge. #AddtheM @YWCACanada
It's almost February which means it's time to start planning for Twosday! (Tuesday 2/22/22)
After seeing lots of math teachers on facebook asking for ideas about how to celebrate this holiday, I put together this Twosday Challenge.

I love our school and the fun we have!Today was jersey day and I definitely heard from others about their “dislike” for my favourite teams.Hallways were filled with infectious energy and it was an awesome way to end the week.Spirit days are my favourite! @LadnerElem@deltasd37
