I was not ready for the level of detail in Michelangelo’s massive marble sculpture of David (and the sling that defeated Goliath) in Florence 🇮🇹
I have many questions

So a 256GB iPhone 17 Pro costs $1,099 to own
The Apple Upgrade leasing program will let you borrow it for:
• $45.99/month x 12 months = $551.88
• $31.99/month x 24 months = $767.76
You save $547.12 to borrow it for 12 months or $331.24 for 24 months, after which you send it back to Apple and start a new term for a new iPhone
Those are prices without Apple care or initial phone trade-in
Unless you want to own your device outright forever, what person who wants the newest iPhone wouldn't join Apple Upgrade and just lease their phone in perpetuity?
There are plenty of things you can lease: a car, an apartment or an office space, for example. Now you can add your next iPhone to that list. https://t.co/7yPWSYDJZ3

You don't see that very often 😲
Namibia's Tryagain Morning Ndevelo was handed a walkover in the men's 60kg boxing because his opponent, Anthony Joseph of Trinidad and Tobago, missed his call time! ⌚
How does a country holding 60% of one of the world's hottest oil basins drill zero wells in four years?
Namibia will tell you. Across the border, in the exact same Orange Basin, they've drilled over 20 wells since 2022, most of them striking oil. Some of those finds now rank among the biggest discoveries in Africa's history.
South Africa holds the bigger share of that basin. And has nothing to show for it.
Every time TotalEnergies or Shell wins environmental approval to explore, it ends up back in the Western Cape High Court. The Green Connection, Natural Justice and small fishing cooperatives keep filing challenges. One approval was cancelled in August 2025.
Another verdict is still pending.
I'm not saying scrap environmental review. I'm asking why the process takes years here while Namibia moves in months, using the same ocean, the same rock, the same play.
South Africa isn't short on oil. It's short on the ability to get out of its own way.
Yes, your daughter was killed after she killed our daughters, and before she could kill more of our daughters.
She was not defending her country; she was attacking ours.
Don’t fall for Trump’s lies.
Obviously this little freak could go volunteer to fight the war himself, but of course he won’t. He’s got no interest in making any kind of personal sacrifice. None of them do. Israel’s finance minister bragged the other day that having American soldiers fight Netanyahu’s wars “is the best for us.” Smotrich doesn’t want to die for Israel. Neither does Ben Shapiro. Dying for Israel is your job. You’ve got to wonder how people like this — liars without honor, wisdom or loyalty to the United States — wound up in positions of such profound influence throughout our society. How did Mark Levin get the president’s cell phone number? Why is Adm. Brad Cooper, the man in charge of the Iran war, secretly taking strategic advice from crazed Israel shill Mark Dubowitz? It’s all so nuts, and ultimately suicidal. Future generations will struggle to understand it. In the meantime, Trump will likely obey Ben Shapiro, as he has consistently for months. We can predict the results, because every neocon “victory” is identical: huge numbers of innocent people killed, disproportionately Christians, economic destruction, famine, mass migration and deepening authoritarianism at home. That’s what they’re demanding because that’s what they want. What can we do to stop it? Apparently not much. But we can remember what happened and why, so that history records the truth. Otherwise, when the war ends in disaster, as it inevitably will, Ben Shapiro will be able to blame you for it.
🚨🔴⚪️ Arsenal have agreed all details of personal terms with Bruno Guimarães and new official bid will follow.
#AFC to offer £70m, Newcastle expect to reject but Arsenal feel they can still get it done.
Arteta, pushing: he wants Bruno.

Interesting to watch how this story develops and whether the state will go after Hanjo Schlabitz. It went after Amushelelo the moment he was accused of running a forex scheme.
