Once something has been posted, it can be extremely difficult to delete, whether it be from a certain site or people’s memories. A person’s reputation can depend on how appropriately they conduct themselves on a social media platform. #suitablematerial@jschmidt_james
Posting something that’s vulgar or offensive for a quick laugh isn’t worth it’s long term effects. Be smart in your decision making on social media or it’ll cost you. @jschmidt_james#suitablematerial
Things you post in your teenage years can heavily affect you in the process of not only getting into college, but in getting a job. If you want to be successful, be careful with what you post. @jschmidt_james#suitablematerial
In a world where people are connected through social media, what you post is what people see you as. Don’t ruin your own reputation. @jschmidt_james#suitablematerial
Social media has allowed for the connection and communication amongst millions of teenagers around the world. Being aware and vigilant of the content you post can really save your life in the long run. @jschmidt_james

I do think Kaepernick should be allowed back into the NFL under certain conditions. Kneeling during the anthem was not only rude to our country, but to the soldiers who defend our country. Therefore I think he should agree to never disrespect the flag ongoing @jschmidt_james
Whether Kaepernick plays in the NFL again or not, I do believe he should watch and account for things he says and his actions. We live in a world where everything you say is used against you and disrespect is not tolerated. #respecttheanthem@jschmidt_james
Colin Kaepernick’s skill, athletic ability, and talent on the field shouldn’t interfere with his political beliefs. Although his disrespectful actions aren’t justified without punishment, kicking him out of the NFL is a bit much. #respecttheanthem@jschmidt_james
Colin Kaepernick is a complicated man with views that are different from the average player in the NFL. His actions in kneeling during the anthem shouldn’t have costed him his career in the NFL. The talented player is a hard worker and deserves a career. @jschmidt_james
What Colin Kaepernick did in kneeling during the national anthem was unpatriotic and blatantly done without shame. Although this was extremely disrespectful, I feel like a suspension should have sufficed for his actions. #Respecttheanthem@jschmidt_james
As of right now, I can see that vending machines do not accommodate for a kids’ health needs being that the majority of snacks are unhealthy. As time progresses, healthy alternatives should be added such as popcorn, a low calorie, filling alternative to chips. @jschmidt_james
In the future, if unhealthy snacks are taken out of vending machines I do believe sales would decline. No one wants to involuntarily switch their eating habits. As time goes on, they would learn to enjoy foods they aren’t used to eating. @jschmidt_james#vendingmachines
Vending machines can improve their food and beverage options by including foods such as packaged apples, dried fruit, nuts and strictly stick to water. By taking out unhealthy options, students have no choice but healthy foods when hungry. @jschmidt_james#vendingmachines
Vending machines are good components to a school building, being that a quick snack could improve focus, but a healthy selection has to be implemented into these machines. This would help limit teenage obesity and would aid in good nutrition. @jschmidt_james#vendingmachines
Although vending machines are quite convenient for teens in grabbing a quick snack between classes, the snacks provided are often calorie dense, non-filling foods that are not beneficial to one’s nutrition. @jschmidt_james#vendingmachines
