@metal_jedi @networkgeek_ We replaced 5508's with 5520's a few years back. Because of the Cisco policy that newer ap's can't run on older wlc version we had to enable our old 5508's again because we didn't have the time/budget to replace all the "older" ap's. We're now migrating to Juniper instead

@networkgeek_ @metal_jedi We had a project where we had to replace cisco 3600E's with new devices because of compatability with WLC firmware. 9130's had a waiting time for 1yr+. I decided to go for older 3800's with a lead time of 6 months. Extra bonus: the ext antennas are compatible
