@GoffTeaches I think it’s almost like an inquiry framework is what you’re looking for. I think it’s a bit difficult to have students figure out the chunks if they don’t have necessary context

@GoffTeaches I agree, it has to go through a lot of checks before it goes live on a lot of high traffic pages, but for some of the things that I have students researching are more obscure than the basis of a billion dollar blockbuster movie’s fictional metal

@GoffTeaches I mean I relate it back to grown adults’ inability to discern fake news from real news, reliability in information, etc. It’s an advanced skill that is hard to teach

@GoffTeaches I’ve also found that the level of discernment has to be eased into rather than giving a blanket go of it. If students are having a hard time summarizing and finding quotes in a 100% reliable text, it’s even harder if the text they’re reading is widely accepted as less reliable

@GoffTeaches The hardest part of that is to show them how to discern what would be useful and what is filler on Wikipedia
