Year 8 have had a great time this afternoon making part of @Maths_Grange christmas tree from A LOT of sierpinski tetrahedrons 🎄🎄🎄🎄 we wonder how big it will get if this took us a full double lesson. Thanks to Mrs Thayer for the idea and getting the resources sorted!
Not many computer algorithms get their own birthday party, but Quicksort is one of them. Its 60th is currently being celebrated at the @NewtonInstitute and we talked to its inventor, Tony Hoare, to find out how he came up with it and how it works https://t.co/66tJhFTQ8J

Deadline for submitting Grange Awards ( y7-9 and L6) is Thursday 27th May. We are looking forward to reading about all of the activities you have been involved in this year. There’s still plenty of time to get involved! @Enrich_Grange
Year 7 have also been busy today using @getdiagnostics to see what they remember about collecting like terms. It’s great to see where their misconceptions are so we can sort them out!
Year 7 @Maths_Grange took on the challenge to learn as many digits of pi as they could. An outstanding effort&wonderfully supportive atmosphere from all. Sara, Matt and Grace managed the most by memorising 74, 67 and 51 digits respectively! Just WOW! @Grange_Cheshire@HOfY_Grange
