@samashurst just listening to the first part of Best of 2023 🤦🏻 and you mention “As Bestas” which you call a French film. I freaking adore Sorogoyen and Peña, the best filmmakers in Spain at the moment, thus it’s a Spanish film 🤷🏻 (which, as a Basque, I’m weirdly defensive of)

@13fingerfx and @samashurst I ADORED La Residencia (I’m a Basque who grew up in Australia), which I knew of but assumed it was cheapie made for the English language market. My BIGGEST problem with it was the confusion about whether I should watch it in a Castellano or English 🤷🏻

@LRCkcrw I just wanted to say, after listening to the last episode (Sarah’s ‘maternity leave’ ep), I’ve come to realise that this line up, with @davidgreene @MoElleithee and @whignewtons , has become my favourite and is the best representation for the very idea of the podcast 👏🏼

@LRCkcrw as a crusty old man I ‘harrumphed’ at all the changes to the line up. But listening to the last few episodes I’ve come to realise this current lineup (Greene, Isgur and Elleithie) more accurately represent the intent of the show: politics, debate AND respect. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

So I’m rewatching #babylon5 right now, and I’m well aware of it’s difficult connection to #STDS9 (difficult for #StarTrek that is) but I was STUNNED when in S2E6 Sheridan mentions the secretive intel org, BUREAU 13!!! Section 13 doesn’t appear until S6E18 of DS9 - YEARS later! 🤦🏻‍♂️

@13fingerfx Big Bus! BIG f**king BUS!!! Wow! Memories! My experience was at the local drive-in & loving it! Imagine a film being made now where the avg age of the cast is 50 & not made for the elderly cinema set (like a funny Flight of the Wild Geese 😳🤷🏻)
