Do not download and run games from people on your friends list on Discord. Verify who they are first through other communication methods. Always think before you run things.
The executables they send end up taking over your Discord account and then send out more messages to your friends list. This repeats and spreads.
A number of streamers and community members got hit by this today. It's an incredibly common attack and seems to be on the rise. They are playing on the emotional tie you have to someone already on your friends list. Due diligence is the enemy of phishing.
