‼️QUIGLEY (D): When my friends talk about peace and they say we need to be flexible, I wanna know details. Does that mean we're gonna give Putin a reward for raping and pillaging the Ukrainian people? We're gonna reward them with the land that they took and this aggressive nature.
“Mr. Chairman, I have some questions. My first question is, if my friends across the aisle don't like this bill, why don't they draft their own? Why did this bill have to be forced on them? Why was there necessary to do a discharge petition? Where was their excitement about doing anything? My second question is, why hasn't the President of the United States said who he wants to win this war? He still has not said who he favors. My next question is, when my friends talk about peace and they say we need to be flexible, I wanna know details. Does that mean we're gonna give Putin a reward for raping and pillaging the Ukrainian people? We're gonna reward them with the land that they took and this aggressive nature. This is the time to make those decisions. We are now about to celebrate our 250 anniversary of independence. We are reminded that our nation was born in defiance of tyranny. Ukraine is fighting that same fight today, and this fight is the same reason we fought the Second World War. Putin's goal stretches well beyond Ukraine. He seeks to erase a democracy, to replace freedom with fear, and to prove that brute force can triumph over the rule of law. We cannot allow that to stand. Thank you, and I yield back” - @RepMikeQuigley on Thursday, June 4th, 2026.
More than a dozen GOP lawmakers defied their own leadership — and President Donald Trump — by voting with Democrats to approve a major bill to deliver billions of dollars in aid to Ukraine while imposing steep sanctions on Russia. https://t.co/VIh0VHbc7A
The list of Russia’s latest “victories” over the past few days has grown to include the Yagotynske for Children plant, which produced food products for children. In the Kyiv region, rescue efforts are ongoing at the site of this strike – units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine have already extinguished the fire. As of now, seven people have been reported injured. Tragically, four people were killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones.
Also on this list are food warehouses and a postal facility in the Dnipro region, an ambulance in Kherson, a school building in the Sumy region, port infrastructure in the Odesa region, ordinary residential buildings, and an outpatient clinic building in the Kharkiv region.
Russia continues its war against life, and everyone who helps us is truly standing up to defend it. Every support package with anti-ballistic defense, every joint agreement on weapons production, every step the world takes in sanctions against Russia – all of this helps protect people’s lives. I thank everyone who stands with Ukraine! It is important for all of us together to force Russia to end their war and move toward diplomacy.
Bryce Mitchell on Trump's White House UFC fight:
Our government is desecrating its role in society by entertaining sports. Our government is to protect and serve the people. Our tax dollars and resources are funding this operation. The government is supposed to protect us, not entertain us.
NEW: A stunning new project from @lawfare's Katherine Pompilio finds that 97 Jan. 6ers who received clemency for their role in the Capitol riot then got arrested, charged, and/or convicted with subsequent crimes—a number much higher than previously reported.
Amaryllis Fox Kennedy, a former senior Trump administration official, said she resigned last month in part because she was increasingly frustrated with the lack of oversight of the intelligence community’s use of taxpayer funds—including gold bullion. 🔗 https://t.co/Db3dpdaTkr
⚡️ Russia’s new terrorist tactic
Submunitions from Iskander missiles are increasingly detonating not immediately, but 20–30 minutes after impact.
The apparent goal is to kill rescuers, medics, and civilians who return to the strike site or take part in evacuation efforts.
It seems the occupiers have reached a new level of cruelty.
Do not approach suspicious objects after missile strikes.
BREAKING: Former Trump official Sarah Matthews reveals that CNN's Kaitlan Collins is the "one reporter" who "scares" Trump and that's why he attacks her.
This makes so much sense...
"I will say that during my time working as Deputy Press Secretary in the first Trump administration, Kaitlan Collins was the one reporter that scared Kayleigh McEnany and President Trump the most," Matthews said on CNN.
"There would be times where Kayleigh McEnany wouldn't even call on Kaitlan Collins at press conferences, at press briefings, because she didn't want to answer the questions. Because Kaitlan Collin is a very, very good reporter," she continued.
"She's the best at what she does and I think that's why you see Trump go after her more ferociously than any other reporter in that room," said Matthews.
And it's true. Trump regularly snaps at Collins for daring to ask the hard-hitting questions that the American people are most interested in. She doesn't shy away from the Epstein scandal, or the ongoing war, or any of the other countless scandals that bubble up daily. Rather than answer her directly, Trump will often insult her, her news outlet, or demand that she smile more. Yesterday, he melted down on her and said that she has "hatred in her eyes."
"And it is disgusting to watch him tell a woman that she needs to smile while doing her job," said Matthews. "I've seen Kaitlan smile plenty of times, but when she's asking someone a hard-hitting question, I don't think that that means that she has to smile while doing it."
"And he brings it up time and time again and it's these misogynistic attacks, not just against Kaitlan," Matthews went on. "You know, he told her today to be quiet while she tried to ask a follow-up question. We've seen him say, quiet piggy, to a female reporter. Another great female reporter, I will add, someone I worked with during my time in the first Trump administration."
By now, Trump's misogyny is well-documented. He's an adjudicated rapist who despises women and sees them as objects who are less than men. The mere idea of a woman challenging his authority enrages him.
"And so I wish that we, this wasn't normalized and that we weren't desensitized to this type of behavior from the President, but it really is appalling and I just want to give, you know, kudos to Kaitlan Collins," said Matthews.
"And he's, I mean, he called another reporter, said to her, are you stupid or something?" said political strategist Ana Navarro. "I mean, just, it's time after time after time. And I'll tell you, one of the things that really bothers me is that there is not more solidarity and outrage from the press in that room."
"I agree," said Matthews
"Because I would like to think that if I was in that room and my colleague was being treated that way, I would say, screw you, I'm leaving, you go ahead and you cover yourself," said Navarro. Leave yourself here with OAN and with Fox News and let that be what your national coverage is."
"And that's why I feel that it is so ridiculous and hypocritical for people to go sit at a White House Correspondents Dinner where Donald Trump is speaking and we are supposed to be celebrating the free press, when practically on a weekly basis, we have to hear his rants against women who are doing their jobs as journalists," Navarro added.
We couldn't agree more.
Please ❤️ and if you're a big fan of Kaitlan Collins!
50-49: Republicans, by one vote, chose to keep Trump’s insurrectionist slush fund dream alive.
After they fumbled around for hours, we needed just one more Republican to muster the courage to end Trump’s taxpayer handout to cop beaters and felons.
As per usual, they were spineless.

This is so insanely corrupt, I can’t even believe it.
More than half the donors to Trump’s $400 million White House ballroom just won over $50 billion in new federal contracts in six months.
And here’s the part that should make your blood boil.
Sixteen of these 27 donors were facing federal enforcement actions, antitrust reviews, labor cases, securities charges. Many of those cases have been quietly dropped or scaled back since Trump took office. You write a check, your legal problems disappear. That’s not a coincidence.
The White House won’t even release the full donor list. They’re hiding it on purpose, because daylight is the one thing pay-to-play can’t survive. A federal judge already ruled ballroom construction has to stop until Congress authorizes it.
Government is supposed to serve the people, not auction itself off to the highest bidder. When access goes to whoever pays the most, working families always end up paying the price.
We either end the corruption, or the corruption will end us.

The entire Republican party from Trump down is saying California rigged the election. With ZERO proof. AGAIN
But Elon Musk basically admitted he stole the 2024 election for Trump, yet we're crazy if we question Elons own words.
“We’re in absolute hell right now. Everything is burning and shaking. Drones are flying in and wiping everything off the face of the earth. Some people are literally running into the city right now. We’re in a basement, not even sure we’ll make it till morning. There have already been strikes nearby. The connection keeps dropping.”
This was a message from residents on the outskirts of Kherson.
After this, the situation escalated further. Their home and nearby areas were hit around three more times. They and their neighbors fled the houses and ran toward the city. Everything was on fire, drones were still overhead. On the way, they saw at least two bodies lying on the road.
The family has since left Kherson and evacuated to Mykolaiv. Their lives are no longer in immediate danger.
This is the reality Ukrainians are being forced to survive.
In America today, we rank 34th out of 35 countries in childhood poverty and millions of children are food insecure.
Maybe, just maybe, my Republican colleagues would consider holding a single hearing about how we improve the lives of American kids.
BOYLE: Fox News poll shows that 72% disapprove of Trump's handling of inflation. Do you agree with the American people?
BESSENT: Uhh, look.. people were torched under the Biden admin...
BOYLE: I wish I had a dollar for every time you or other Republicans brought up Biden's name. If I did, I might have as much money as you have.
🤣🤣🤣
The President is not well. He can’t stay awake at important White House events and cabinet meetings.
@WhiteHouse needs to come clean about why trump takes so many trips to the hospital and why doctors keep giving trump cognitive tests.
