I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Prof. Zelig Eshhar.

Prof. Eshhar was a remarkable scientist and a true pioneer. His ground-breaking work in immunotherapy, most notably his foundational role in the development of CAR-T cell therapy, has transformed the way we understand and treat cancer.

His discoveries have saved lives and opened new horizons in medical science.

I have long admired his vision, courage, and dedication to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in science. His legacy will continue to inspire me and so many others around the world.
