You were sent to Washington to represent your constituents in Texas, not the constituents in John Thune's South Dakota. This is not a 50-50 issue in Texas, so your personal opinion doesn't matter. That's why Ken Paxton will be taking your job in January. If you're right, and we're wrong, then we'll reverse course and go another route. But it's not your job to force your will on us. It's your job to force OUR will on the Senate.
