This lady claims that her husband was a media aide to Senator Shehu Buba. According to her, one day he left their home, telling her that he was going to Damaturu to collect something.

She said her husband later told her that they went “catch a boy” and the boy escaped to the Niger Republic, and that he will be traveling there. After that incident, she never saw her husband again.

According to her account, they remained in contact by phone for a few months, but eventually his phone line went dead. Since then, she says she has been unable to reach him or establish what happened to him.

Hassan is making some very serious claims, and they shouldn’t just be dismissed without scrutiny. If he genuinely has firsthand knowledge of bandits and evidence of the activities he described, then the security agencies need to hear him out.

I believe Hassan should be properly questioned by the DSS and other relevant authorities. His claims, relationships, documents and any evidence in his possession should be independently verified. That would give the allegations more credibility and also hold him accountable for whatever information he is putting into the public space.

If what he is saying is true, it could be important intelligence. If not, that should also be established. Serious allegations deserve serious investigation

Hassan says his close knowledge of Dogogide comes from growing up with him in the same Fulani community. He claims they were childhood friends before their paths changed, with Hassan moving to Rivers State for education while Dogogide later joined banditry.

“I took this video evidence when those bandits came to the senator’s house to collect deadly weapons, ammunition and guns before launching a massacre in Benue State.

At that time, we were ordered to submit our phones because recording was strictly prohibited. If I had refused to hand over my phone, I believe they would have killed me instantly.

As a smart Fulani guy, I submitted my phone. However, before the vehicle carrying the ammunition arrived, I borrowed another phone from a friend who lived nearby. I told him I needed the phone to do something important.
