Examples of the decennial pattern:

Worst performing years:
Decades ending with 7's and 0's like 2000 or 2007 and 2020 are the worst preforming years in the stock market. Thats when we should expect tops.

Best performing years:
Decades ending in 2's and 3's like 2003 or 2012 and 2023 also 1992 are the best preforming years in the stock market. Thats when we should expect bottoms and new bull cycles.

Edgar Lawrence Smith completed his work in 1938 (86 years ago) he achieved something that nobody else has ever even come close to achieving.
Dont be sheep following the crowd because a huge percentage of infomation out there is made to send you down the wrong track!

Yale Hirsch took Edgar's work a step further.

So middle years ie years ending in 5's produce some of the best preforming markets ever recorded.

The last 140 years as a data point shows us that based on a decade outlook we have had 13 positive years and some of these were crazy and only one negative year and this was only 1% negative.
