What Britain’s millions of unemployed, including millions of unemployed young people need is to compete with more workers from abroad.
The establishment is either insane or complete sadists.
Grok: "Brendan Kavanagh, a YouTube boogie-woogie pianist known as Dr K, posted police bodycam footage from his April 1, 2025 arrest at home by six Bedfordshire officers along with his wife, both handcuffed in front of their children.
The arrest stemmed from a harassment complaint by a laicized deacon with prior child abuse allegations abroad, after the Kavanaghs emailed other Catholic parents raising safeguarding concerns about him celebrating Mass at their private chapel.
Police seized electronics worth £12,000; after two months of investigation, no offences were found, charges were dropped without apology, and the couple is now pursuing legal action against the force over the incident's handling."
So... This tweet doesn't have a community note. It appears to be true.
That's interesting, isn't it?
Because... shouldn't this person be arrested? Isn't calling for jihad a little bit worse than my tweet saying that trans activists smell, for which I was arrested at Heathrow Airport?
Sorry, shouldn't he actually be deported? Lest he radicalise the UK's prison population?
Why is this person in the country?
Oh what a surprise ...
Dr Beth Upton - the male doctor at the centre of nurse Sandie Peggie’s tribunal case over using a female changing room at NHS Fife - isn't exactly keeping a low profile after his move to Australia.
The Scottish Mail on Sunday reports that Upton - now known as Lis - reportedly became involved in an incident at Port Macquarie Base Hospital ...
After a female patient declined treatment from him and requested a female doctor.

A 15-year-old schoolboy was arrested by four West Midlands Police officers after a Conservative councillor complained about being mocked online.
Fraser, a 15-year-old Reform UK activist, was woken by police and arrested in front of his neighbours. His mugshot and DNA were taken. Even his shoes were confiscated as he was left in a cell.
What had he done? He had criticised a Conservative councillor on Facebook for wearing shorts and a T-shirt to a council meeting. When the councillor later attended a meeting in a suit, Fraser remarked that he was thankfully not dressed like a “rent boy”.
The story has become a global embarrassment. It has even reached the New York Post, where our American friends have expressed gratitude for the free-speech protections of the First Amendment.
Politicians must not use the police as their personal force to silence criticism or mockery.
Fraser is still, two months on, waiting to hear if he’ll be charged with a crime.
If a 15-year-old can be arrested for a jokey comment online, anyone can.

Christ alive, this just gets worse and worse.
I ask again: who is going to listen to the government’s demands that they fight for the UK, if this is how the government treats the elite men who *volunteer* to fight for it?
Shameful...
Police ought to be ashamed of themselves.
I've had my fair share of edited photos put on social media and so what.
Now if this Tory councillor has reported this 15 year old boy to the police then he too should be ashamed of himself.
Instead of acting like a big girls blouse he should actually grow a pair.
Mind you, looking at the picture he already has grown a pair.
Even I’m stumped at what the contemplated offence is here
What I will say is, our model Freedom
Of Speech Bill doubtless repeals it. You can read the bill at the link below, thanks to @asi : https://t.co/6ghszkTump
“From the outside, this appears to be yet another unnecessary and mishandled RMP investigation initiated not because of serious concerns, but merely as a self-serving public relations exercise by London-based and distant headquarters staff, (miles from the combat) designed to demonstrate an enhanced, but entirely performative, degree of ‘transparency and control’ to a Panorama-triggered Whitehall; and in ways that understandably undermine SAS confidence in an increasingly politicized chain of command”.
It is utter nonsense
These stories are increasingly reaching an international audience via social media.
Do the government not realise how much damage this absurd police overreach is doing to our international reputation?
Remember when we used to say, “it’s a free country”?
The ILR debate really hits home how far Labour and the unions have drifted from their founding purpose. The main reason there's been a shortage of care workers is because the pay is too low, the work isn't respected, and it's no longer a structured career. Care homes just want minimum wage workers, and they don't care about ability or suitability just so long as they maximise their profit margins.
Labour and the unions should want to correct this, not least to restore dignity for the elderly. Personally I do not want to spend my dying days in a care home tended to by random untrained Africans who are just here to exploit the visa system. Labour should want the care sector to be a viable career and an adequately paid profession, but now wages are so low that you can make the same money working at McDonalds with none of the physical and emotional labour.
Propping the care sector up with low wage immigrant labour so private equity care homes can maximise their profits is more in line with a neoliberal hellscape than anything resembling a Labour run country.
The Home Office is offering landlords double the market rate to kick out tenants and house illegal migrants instead.
Everything about this is disgusting - including the fact that it takes properties off the market for everyone else.
Yet again, this Government rewards criminals.
